Crown Point was one I also had marked and is a horse at a good proce to win this matchup!! +140 or so is what I think he will go off at.



Ay Caramba is a great play WOW you got +129 great play. he will be favored in this one! im in at +105. think down to -120 or so he is fine.


Northern Mischief I had the other way originally on my shhet but now Im reflecting on that one before deciding on. He is +103 now.

Perfect example of the effect of ground loss. RM goes through the 4 path, only to be fanned out even wider by the #6, and SR gets the rail trip and defeats RM by a length.

Yeah, I got started on the matchups late because I was working hard on my teams I'm going to take in my season long college basketball pool.

Two rare short prices today. Almost one favorite.

What is the format of your college basketball pool? Why the late start? Im in one where we draft teams fromt he major conferences and keep track of total wins for the season its a blast and I do have Iowa in a late round pick looking good!!! . NO trades, super easy, no weekly lineups, etc, etc, ITs a blast. We do it for college football and college hoops.

Hopefully this won't be interpreted as spam or such but it's a pool run locally out of the Philly burbs area. It's grown to about 150 entrants, including luminaries such as ESPN Andy Katz. The URL is :

I've thought about throwing this out in the other forums for those interested, but I don't want to offend the powers that be.

It's a similar thing to what you do. Every team has a point value and you have to choose a team from the 6 power conferences (ACC, Big East, Big 10, Big 12, PAC 10, SEC), and 5 "wild card" teams that can come from any conference including the Big 6. You have an allocated number of points to spend on your teams and you must choose 11. You earn points for non-conference wins, conference wins, conference tournament wins, NCAA seeding points and NCAA tournament wins. It's a great pool and the gentleman who runs it does a superb job. The point totals are updated each morning. Great way to pass the first 15 minutes of the work day. There are additional rules, but that's the gist of it.

The pool starts just after the Preseason NIT concludes most years. Last year I submitted my team before the NIT started and chose Georgia Tech, only to see them beat Texas Tech and UConn and then have everyone and their brother choose them because of their low point value.
