If you are selective, they are pretty nice.

I wish they had stuck to 5 cent juice on these.

There was a day or 5 cent juice? Or just talking about how it is for the other sports?

There were 10 cent spreads (5 cent juice) up until a month ago. You could sit there and scalp based on how the line was going to move all day long. So much value when a win bet at the track is 16% on avg and a matchup was just 5. Well 8 is still good, but not as good when you consider a 7% rebate on a win bet in NY is essentially 7% juice. You are getting close to betting races and being picky on matchups.

I guess I never really noticed now when I think about it. These matchup markets seems to be far from efficient, with a lot of money moving on ML's, win odds, etc.

10 cent horse matchups are a players dream. No way you can price and book a two horse race using a dime line and expect it to be profitable. I would assume Pinny offers these matcups at a dime to please customers who give them action in other areas. As I've said in the past it is far more easy to bet into matchups then it is to book them.

I would agree that they are probably more as a service than a lucrative entity.
