In reality, the Pinnacle line didn't move a full 2 points. It would be true if the juice were -105 both ways, but when it was -3, Oakland was (+3 -127), when they moved it to 1, it became KC (-1 -117). Given that Pinnacle has 10 cent lines, the game really moved about 1/2 point and 1 point at the most.

Most other books moved the game from 2.5 to 2

That's a great point because rarely the juice is not true, and although the number may have moved by buying up or down, it's not really the move you think it is.

When BetJam had the game at 3 (before moving to 2), they had it Oak +3 -130 and KC -3 +110. That's the same line you would get if if you bought a half point from 2.5 to 3. In essence, they moved it from 2.5 to 2.
