I am going with the Texas Rangers!!! No laughing please.

Been saying this for a few weeks now. They seem to have that feel good story with Hamilton going for them and they have showed some fight in a few come from behind wins the past week.

I know this is probably one of the 3 worst franchises in the American League but who knows. It seems like every year a team gets hot in the 2nd half of the season and becomes the story of baseball.

This is a real longshot but who knows. Anyone else have a team to watch that most wouldnt expect?

Texas at 100-1 looks pretty good.

Florida is 11-1 to win the NL East, or 40-1 for WS.

Anybody liking the Florida at 11-1 for just their division ?

Because of the division I took a very small shot on the Giants for the NL west. Have the pitching, just need a little help from the offense.

The Dodgers if you consider them a long shot. I see them going to the World Series.

Another potential long shot to make some noise is the Jays (yes, I guess I'm a homer). The hitting has been better since Cito got there, and if they can improve just a bit more there is no reason why they can't make a push for the wildcard (although I think the Rays still get it).

And no, the Tigers won't win the world series. The Tigers will not even sniff the playoffs IMO.

Looking from the other end of it, I expect St Louis to struggle in the second half.

Their pitching has been doing it with smoke and mirrors and their lineup has holes and should cost them the rest of the way.

I agree with the St Louis pick.

Fish have added two new arms to the staff and close to a third. Also talking about Pudge coming back.

If they stay healthy, which is the key to anyone, they have as good a shot as anyone.

Carib Sports has Texas 300-1 to win the WS. The problem is I can only get down $16.67 to win $5,001. Might be worth it!!

Do I think they have a good chance? No!!!

But 300-1 is 300-1. They are 4 games over .500 and playing almost .600 ball since April 30th with a 41-28 record.

Looking for value!!!
