tears tears tears I had the monster horse in race 8...did not go deep enough in race 2 or race 7 (finished second)...im sick $50,000 was right there for me...5 of 6 paid 2 grand and I just missed hitting that a few times... darnnnnnnn

Oh, the pain TTT. I am sick too, because a horse I keyed, the #1 in the 7th (Desire to Excel) won, and YOU had the 9 horse, a first time starter in the 8th and final leg! Damn you, if your 9 doesnt nip my #2 right at the wire, I have 5of6 3times! Shit!

I like Pat Gallagher with maiden firsters, but I just didnt see anything too great in this ones work pattern, so I tossed him, and played the 2,3,4,6 & 14. (they ran second, third, fourth)

That key horse, the #1 in the 7th I liked a lot because she closed into a ridiculous "01" speed biased track last start, and that is impressive. Not only that, but she did it after not having raced ever in California. Her two route races were flops, in New York, and she was stakes placed. All of her sprints were strong. I did bet her to win, and had other tickets played off her, but only made $50.00 on the day.
