I am making changes to my company website and need help resizing an image. Its a Jpg image that is 228 x 575 pixels and I need to shrink it to 150 X 150 pixels. When I try to leave the contraints in proportion it will not allow me to save it at this size. When I take of the Contraints it stretches out the picture and makes it wide...
Need Help Please!!!

wish i was on my laptop so i could open photoshop to help you out, but to get you a hint, it's something like you choose the image then under view or something there should be an option somewhere for resize, under which brings up the physical size of the photo (in pixels, inches, whatever you want), and you type in the changes there....sorry i can't help more, but on the home computer, good luck

I have done that but when I try to resize it to 150 x 150 pixels it stretches out the image as in above..

Since it's originally 228 x 575 pixels, it's going to be deformed if you reduce it to 150 x 150 because you are reducing it by 78 x 425 pixels.....definitely a LONG ways from being a even reduction on width vs. height.

The only way to not screw up the image proportions is to reduce them by equal %ages on height & width.

For example, you can reduce it by 40% each way to 137x345
