No matter what the teams record. He is unbelievable.

Put up 440 with 5 Td's tonight completing 80% of his passes.

I know it was against Kansas,

but against Florida State and Ohio State (both on the Road) He put up 800 yards 8 Td's and ) Int's with a 75 % completion percentage...

Unbelievable

I agree with you action. He has to also thank his OLinemen as he was only sacked 17 times on the year. But he was awesome. If I knew that he was supported that much by his family and friends , being their at the game. And them having such a strong relationship and connection with the coaches and school on and off the field, it would have answered that big mystery question that burned all my brain cells. And that was whether or not he would show up to play tonight. With that close nit circle or supporters for him , how could he not show up and play hard, as they have been with him throughout his entire career and do deserve for him to give them an all out effort. He will be a success in the NFL , because of this support he has. Hes a good guy and good people most often succeed in their endevours.

I think he is a hell of a QB too, but a lot of his completions are less than 5 yards. I'm sure given his size and arm strength, and of course his emotional security, he will do fine in the NFL, unlike other QB's that run the run and shoot or some variation of it.

they`d better do something with those mechanics......that tight side arm sling delivery`s not gonna cut it in the nfl.....

i hate to disagree, but,i think the guy might be a clipboard carrier....not sold on his arm strength,either....

i will say that he`s a competitor... mentally tough....and his leadership skills are solid....

but his mechanics are pretty bad...........

Good point sphincter, but I do remember David Carr also had a side arm throw which he always did. But the pros know how to fix his mechanics , they fixed Carr. Plus, in the NFL is where you get all the proper training on mechanics and what not. I was so intrigued by a film on the coach from the Buffalo Bills training his new big rt tackle on the proper way to squat down and how to move out of that position. Talk about fixing someones mechanics.

Ben is the better of the 2 IMO. Rivers is blessed to be in a good system. I think he is overrated. His receivers over the years have made him look better than what he actually is and he plays in a good system. He may make a wonderful backup one day in the NFL.

Ben has all the tools. He's pretty mobile for a big guy. Rivers has heart but not all the tools. Manning has better arm strength and speed than his older brother at this stage. The scouts are worried about the intangibles, though. Kid knows how to have a good time.
The draft order will probably (or should) be..

Manning

and all 3 will be holding a clipboard or do nothing productive for the first 3 years

the draft is a funny thing
these college qbs are the greatest then after 2 years in the nfl they are considered shit

drafting qbs are total gamble

next year a world league/indoor football mvp qb will be more qualified to start in the nfl

its funny how these 3 are great and kurt warner cant throw now

what im saying is qb in the nfl is the ultimate unpredictable crapshoot

a nfl qb can have a mvp year and then be a total shit the rest of his career(ex don majikowski qb of green bay)

but every year we have the cant miss elway/marino

louiville/kansas def?????

Action,
With all due respect, NCS up 30 w/8 mins to
play still in the gun chuckin' it. For what
reason, the Tangy Bowl yardage record? Chuck
the Chest and Rivers both deserve Bite Me's
for that totally classless display, no reason
for it to have come to that point..

Might be the best in the country but will never amount to much of a pro.
You can devleop film in the time it takes Rivers to get the ball off. Not a pro style QB, but he is still one hell of a NCAA QB and an all around good guy to boot.

Is he any good at b-ball? Maybe he can be the next Charlie Ward.
