A valiant effort ot get to the NFC champiosnhip again, and by far the most consistent team in the NFC in the Past Three years

Maybe Next year

Your new stadium is very nice, and the grass field is a vast improvement, and the Fans are seated farther away than at the Vet

So NO ONE FEARS YOUR HOME ANYMORE, BE PREPARED FOR SOME MORE PAYBACK

So what is the Day like in Philly

a great deal of

anger

Hey look at this way, you can now watch this team fake it for the next two years, while the rest of the NFC improves.

And thanks for the new field for the visitors

Too bad they had the little leaguer Detmer for a back up.

How pitiful is he?

That has to be a fake beard. He plays like he is about 15 years old!

The funny thing is their best Qb Feeley is right there, but Politics around McNabb might make Feeley join another team. McNabb and criticizing him just for his Qb skills will be difficult because of the politics surrounding him.

I do feel McNabb DOES NOT deserve all the criticism, but He PLAYS for the EAGLES and that is par for the course.

I mean look at Culpepper and how horrible he is, and he makes so many more mistakes then McNabb, but because he is in Minny, they are shit blind to say anything. They sit in their seats an say OOoh Aahh That kid can throw the ball hard. Culpeppper is HORRIBLE

And Bledsoe has fooled the NFL for years with a strong arm. Bledsoe is BY FAR ONE OF THE WORST QB "SKILLED" PLAYERS IN THE LEAUGE. He should be thankful for being a millionaire from Wash St, and been the biggest Qb dissappointment. And Peyton will never make it to Super Bowl if they do not play the championship game in Indy

SO poor McNabb gets all the bad press, but there are others that deserve more

I AM JUST HAPPY THAT PHILLY HAS LOST HOME FIELD ADVANTAGE, and other teams are goiNg to SPANK them at home, RIGHT IN FRONT OF THAT GREAT FAN BASE HAHAHAH

Philly will fade off the radar screen now. 2 yrs ago and last year they had good enought teams, just could'nt get over the hump. Now no defense, a QB who can't throw from the pocket and a team that knows they can't win the big one.

Carolina totally bullied Philadelphia. They hurt McNabb, scared the receivers, and made a hero out of a rookie (see Ricky Manning)

Newport...you are right on, especially about Culpepper and Bledsoe. These clowns over in the Rush Was Right thread are all over McNabb for last nights game. McNabb is certainly not the best quarterback in the league, but he is better than most.

People are bashing McNabb and it cracks me up. I mean, he was one of the last four QB's playing at the end of the year, wasn't he?

Considering all the losses to injury and free agency, Philly was very fortunate to make it to the NFC championship game.

I think the Eagles are going to fade very quickly with the rise of Dallas and Joe Gibbs in Washington, although he has a mess of a team to sort out.

If McNabb were smart he would really try to get out of there, BECAUSE his own success, and now the teams decline, makes it impossible for him to succeed. And Half of Phlly never wanted him to begin with. And guess what else shows How hypocrytical and back stabbing Phill Fans are.

McNabb is so much more of a complete Qb as a running Qb than Randall Cuningham was, and they adored Cunningham for his play ground style.

McNabb needs to get into a more system team Like the Cowboys, Ravens, ect to make the most of his tallents. With a strong offensive line, a more complete running game, and better wide outs with a stron defensive team. This guy s the leader you want. Not in PHILLY though. They are just SOUR people with SOUR franchises. I mean please tell me where else in the NBA could you house an Alan Iverson. He even has admitted that

Filthy Philly is what you have

TRADE MCNABB NOW

You are correct there too. And, although Detmer and Feely did alright when McNabb went down, give them a full season to prove it. Look at Mark Bulger now...the guy was a godsend when he first replaced Warner, but by mid-season and into the playoffs, they guy flat out cost his team victories. Now the same people who were calling for Warner's head want him back!

Philly fans are indeed idiots, I hope they enjoy their fade to the lower echelon of the NFL. And you are right, then we will really have to hear about how bad McNabb is.

it's all over, but the crying in philly from here on out. these moments don't come along that often -- and philly has had more than their fair share. just ask my pathetic vikes, or the buffalo bills.

now, free agency and salary caps will tear this team apart! they will be more than likely losing there best def player (vincent) and probably taylor, and more than likely lose their best off player in staley. soon there after a few other impact players will be leaving and then coach reid, and then you will be starting from scratch.

next year, you will trul;y see how mediocre mcnabb is. don't get me wrong -- i like himn think he's a good person for the community, and a tuff kid and all, but a fact is a fact.

by the way, i totally agree with culpepper (they play him cause they have to with the big contract he signed???) and bledsoe.

gl

ps

being from boston why aren't you on the pats wagon??? get off this warning track franchise.

That is why for IMAGE SAKE PHILLY should make a blockbuste trade of McNabb

There are so many better teams that would take him in a second. The Ravens would go straight to he Super Bowl if they had McNAbb. And the eagles should re-build around Feeley and Detmyer. McNabb is a winner, but he needs to be on a "SYSTEM" team. Not a "Hey you go win us a game TEAM, like Philly"

NEWPORT, You seem to enjoy bashing Philly. I don't understand it. I have alot of respect for Boston fans. I thought it was classy to chant "Beat LA" after the Sixers beat the Celtics in 82. To dump on a team/city/fans after a loss is childish.
I was even rooting for the Choke Sox to get to the World Series.
At least the Patriots know how to win with class and dignity. Unfortunately, you don't understand what that means.
