Philadelphia vs Houston on 10/05 by Jay_Robinson

Handicapper Analysis +1
The Phillies are locked in as the 6-seed in the National League, so there’s nothing at stake in this matchup. I can see both teams mailing it in for a low-scoring affair; Framber Valdez (3.06 xFIP) will do his part for Houston, and he’s got the Under slightly ahead at 15-13-2 this year.

Bailey Falter (4.12 xFIP) is getting the nod for Philly in this southpaw battle. He’s got the Under at 10-5 since his promotion to the starting lineup in mid-May, including 4-1 in his last five appearances. This will be the first time the Astros have ever faced him, so Falter should have the advantage here.
