Wings survived a great game plan by the Hawks. Have to give them credit. But once again their inexperienced mistakes cost them not only this game but undoubtedly the series. This is the reason Soupy Cambell will go down as an extreamely talented player but a loser in the grand scheme of things. he ran out on a good young Buffalo team [for the money], was heavily counted on by San Jose and wasn't up for the task then left [for the money] and then selfishly did it again and bolted a very good Sharks team for the headlines and the fame. Either he just doesn't get it or he's getting some very bad advice. He's stealing money from the Hawks as he's probably no. 3 on their depth chart back on defence and with that selfish blunder last night, may have slipped to 4th.

The good thing for Wings fans and backers is that was their WORST game of the playoffs so far and they still came away with the win.

I will cautiously sit out game 3 in Chicago and be in a better position to profit the rest of this series.

Hawks played better than I expected. The Wings may of been a little gassed from all the hockey they been playing. Now heading to Chicago with two day rest will benefit the Wings. Hawks will be buzzing for game 3 but their inexperience might catch up to them again. It,ll be interesting to see whose favorite in gm 3 ? Can they really make the wings a dog ?
