I have some food for thought about the Pens/Canes tonight that I thought I would contribute:

The Pens have started using a left wing lock system(and the team is buying into it) to minimize scoring chances against. The theory here is that if you can't score(which they just cannot consistently anymore), don't let the other team score. The Pens have scored 3 goals in their last 4 games. Carolina is also having major scoring problems as well as they have scored 5 goals in their last 5 games. You can get plus money right now on the UNDER 5 goals.

Sounds interesting, but are you sure they would still employ such a defensive tactic against such a crappy team as Carolina?

Fairly big swing on the total depending on who Carolina has in goal.

Darryl,

They are doing it. Heard it on local radio this morning that they will be playing the system tonight. As we know, there are no guarantees but it is a play for me.

is this the dog game of the year?

weekes @ starts 4 overs 12 unders

yup id say it DOES make difference who starts in goal for canes and the under-taker is hoping it is weekes!
