Doesnt this line seem pretty high for an offense that clearly is struggling to move the ball and make plays? Are there any significant injuries with Temple that we need to be aware of?

How is Penn State going to be up by 18 points or more to prevent the backdoor cover?

Vegas might be aware of something we don't know yet but I haven't seen anythi major on the injury reports. Assuming both teams are healthy I can't help but take temple here. Hackeneberg may not have many weapons to work with but he is a complete debacle at qb for them and can single handedly give more games away than he wins. Watching him play is literally difficult for me. Temple may not be anything to write home about offensively but their dual threat qb makes plays with his feet. Not ideal, but I can't see how they don't at least move the ball a couple of drives for some amount of points. I've been on temple all year except for last week against memphis when I talked myself out of temple and chose memphis, which was obviously stupid of me. I'm back on temple this week, just like I got back on the Marshall train too. Both temple and penn state have good defensea and can't pass much on offense, so expect a tight low scoring game with lots of running the ball. Giving the public 10+ points with temple is shocking, because I don't think this penn state offense could run out of sight in two weeks. This line may move more too, and I'll wait for the injury report to be finalized but if it starts dropping towards 10 im grabbing the points with temple. BOL man

Only thing I can even think of, is Hackenburg played SO bad last week, that their is no way he can regress this week.LOL! But seriously.. temple or nothing ESP at + a TD.

Excellent analysis and thanks for that. Yeah, I went big on Penn State last week and got the push.... Thank God! Never been so happy to get my $2500 back hahaha.

I thought I was catching them at a great time against a terrible Indiana team last week. Dumbest bet I think I have ever made with that piece of crap QB that throws duckfarts all over the field and to the other team.

The question is can Temple score? They've never had any luck against PSU. I'll be curious to see what the total is for this game. Could be one of the lowest of the season.

Temple has lost 30 straight in the series.

I don't get the line at all, which means I'll steer clear.

If the public catches wind of the all time series record, that alone could cause this line to skyrocket! I'm hoping that's the case lol.... It won't happen but I would love to see this line at penn state -14

What GoSooners said.

Temple's offense has been dreadful, averaging 205 yards over their last 3 games against defenses not as strong as PSU's. This game rates to very low scoring (though I've projected lower this year -- like CLEM and WAKE last week. ugh.) My current projection is 27-14 PSU -- but even I'm having a hard time seeing this game crack 40 points. The only chance for offensive success that either team has here is PSU with the passing game (which still rates to be below average)-- that's how unfavorable the match ups are for the offenses in this game. I liked IND's Team Total Under last week, I might do the same with TEM, though I doubt it will be as high as the semi-key # of 20 IND had last week.

10-0 does not seem outside of the realm of possibility, lol. I know once, maybe twice, I've bet on a huge dog and they've covered without scoring in the game, lol.

If you put 2500 on PSU ever this year you are crazy!!

im as big of a penn state fan as there is an there is no way in hell I would put that much money on them...

we have one of the best defenses in the country, and some very good skill players on offense but the offensive line is absolutely horrible...a lot of people are down on hackenberg but I blame it on the oline...he has been sacked more in 9 games than any nfl qb was in 16 games lastbyear....not to mention he is running for his life or getting hit on every passing play...the oline is simply awful..in fact two of the starters we defensive linemen about 6 months ago...it's that bad lol
