The third time in 4 weeks where a new course is being used.
This time its a pete dye designed 7300 yard par 72.
Not having any historical data to go on takes away one of my tools. If it is like any dye course i have played ball striking will be a premium.

i am playing two plays
tanaka over ames -23 at pinnacle 1/2 unit
tanaka has 3 top 10s in last 4 events
and raks 29 in ball striking vs ames who ranks 88


flesh over mattiace 3/4 unit at pinnacle -31
flesh average score over last 8 weeks is 68.78
vs mattiace 70.01
flesh has an 11 and a 7 last two tournaments vs mattiace mc,14.
flesh is also a better ball striker
which is greens and regulatin and driving combined
ranking 102 which is not good but much better than mattiace who ranks
191 out of 196

Tanaka was nails at the Canadian Open on a tough old style course that put a premium on staying out of the rough (which was brutal)
If he plays anything like that he wil "airball"
