don't believe it will matter, either way

play or not play, believe the results will be the same.....
a convincing Nets victory, taking back home-court advantage,
on their way to a 4-1 convincing series victory.
Pick the Pacers in game one, and honestly believed they would
win the series, but am now convinced that momentuem has
completly (100%) changed sides..........

Tinsley is out tonight as Vaughn made him look silly out there last game with his injury. Pacers point guard position is thin with Carisle not giving very little mins to Jasikevicius as he struggles as of late. Fred Jones and Johnson should get fair share of mins at the backcourt. J.O, Stephen Jackson, Peja are all banged up.

Jacksons pinkie finger

reports saying that the finger has all but completly
impeded his ability to shoot with any accuracy.

INDIANAPOLIS (AP) -- Indiana Pacers forward Peja Stojakovic will start Game 3 Thursday night against the New Jersey Nets after sitting out Game 2 with a knee injury.

Stojakovic had a nagging right knee injury that flared up less than an hour before Game 2, and the Pacers told him to sit out of their 90-75 loss Tuesday night.

Indiana coach Rick Carlisle said Stojakovic responded well to treatment.

"He's feeling better," Carlisle said. "To what extent, I don't know. It's calmed down a little bit the last couple days."

Carlisle said Stojakovic didn't want to miss Game 2.

"He desperately wanted to play," Carlisle said. "This is what you play your career for. I know it really hurt him to sit out the other night."

Shooting guard Stephen Jackson also will start after hyperextending a finger on his shooting hand late in Game 2. He struggled in practice on Wednesday, but shot on Thursday and will play.

Backup point guard Jamaal Tinsley will miss Game 3 with a sore right Achilles' tendon. He played seven minutes in Game 2 after missing the previous four games.

"It looked like he labored a bit," Carlisle said. "I think it's a tough situation to not be in for a while and now be in the middle of a hotly-contested playoff series."
