Personally I'm passing on this game but here's a few random stats on the Patriots.

13-1 SU & 6-6-2 ATS in home openers with Brady under center...
24-0 SU & 18-4-2 ATS home vs non-division conference opponents since 2009…
12-0 SU & 9-3 ATS home vs AFC West teams including playoffs since 2007…
7-1 SU & 5-3 ATS home vs the Chiefs including playoffs since 1981…

Can't believe the season will be underway this time next week. :103631605

Now some numbers on the Chiefs:

Andy Reid is 25-8 ATS as 5.5 point dog or more with the Eagles & Chiefs.
Andy Reid is 7-8 SU & 11-4 ATS as road dog or neutral site dog vs. team he lost to previous matchup including playoffs since 1999.
QB Alex Smith is 2-1 SU & 3-0 ATS as week one dog or pk w/49ers & Chiefs.

I like the OVER. Pat's should come out sharp, I suspect and won't be afraid to air it out. They have not scored less than 34 in their last six games, and those were against playoff teams mostly. Of course, Edelman s out but Gronk back and Cooks and Dorsett should be interesting speed threats, in additon to Hogan and the RBs.

The only thing that makes me nervous in the Pat's red zone defense. They bend, but don't break. Could see KC getting lots of yards, not lots of points.

either play the pats or don't play. Gillette is a booby trap

Agree with you on this.

Agree with everything you said.

Pats are very deep at rb with guys who can line up at slot or out wide and be legitimate threats. It will be interesting seeing Brady and Cooks get used to real game action together. I think Dorsett will only be in for a gadget play or a deep go route until he learns offense. Maybe he gets in on special teams though. Somebody on that front 7 has to become a sack machine. They were middle of league last season and this year they have the corners to hold up in man coverage while the rush gets pressure. No reason not to have a DD guy. I wish they were able to keep Chandler.

Pats and over will be the most popular picks. I Can't argue against either one since I had my brother put them in at pin along with gt and un yesterday am.

Conflicted on a side. You pay a tax to bet the Pat's although even still they killed it vs the books last year. But the books aren't sleeping on them as this is a big number for a game vs a playoff team.

It will be interesting to see if NE keeps up their good ranking in scoring defense. this will go a long way in determining the value on TOTALS.
