Slow down and get a grip. Yes Paterno should be replaced as coach within days. But don't get all witch hunt high horse. Conflicts and problems spring daily in all programs and corporations (sex harassment, jilted lover hate, alternate lifestyles, internal football conflicts) and Paterno surley delt with his share of them. Paterno didn't commit these crimes so don't be so quick to transfer the responsibility to him- like Paterno could have waved a magic wand and made the situation go away. Paterno was ensnared in his 'team' football protection corporate logic every bit as much as Sandusky was snared in his hideous children-destroying sickness. Agree that Paterno should not coach vs Nebraska. But if you stomp on Paterno from one side and then crawl back up to Saturday afternoon NCAA football from the other, then you are a hypocrite. Worse than awful, these revelations are difficult to understand. But the witch hunter fast justice easy answer in us should slow the scapegoat down.
