There doesnt seem to be many views so far, maybe its the same for the books as there has been little action all day. My only thought was as both Teams are seen as Defensive, the Books are possibly going to put in a lower total than they would like. With the spread pushing 6pts, it could be argued thats the case.

With both Teams shooting 36% last time, Indy gave no excuse other than being one of those nights. Larry Brown, admitted his players panicked after going so far behind and lost their strategy. He also praised his players saying he didnt think they could have played better on defence.

So, putting that all together over 171.5 may carry some value. Anyone got some other input on the game?

Winbet,

Sound logic you make for the over, good luck.

I see you're from Ireland, are many over there interested in N. American sports? You seem to always have a good handle on whatever N. American sport is being played, I always thought most Irish and Europeans wouldn't be interested in Basketball, Baseball, Football etc.

So do you also follow soccer/football and horses too? I know those are the biggies over there.

LEYKIS,
Its all about winning, soccer has got to the point where I consider it unbeatable without plenty of work. The problem is the scoring, the more scoring in a sport, the better chance the punter has and less control the books have.
American sports are live all the time on TV now, so more interest. But gone are the days, as I have mentioned before, when you could go in a betting office on a saturday and place a bet on a thanksgiving game the previous Thursday.

Well Winbet... what kind of intensity you think Detroit is gonna play with. I think they are gonna try to bring down the house, with Indiana keeping up this game might fly over. But in this situation i would rather play a side. Take the points with Indiana and you'll be safe.

Understand what your saying coconut, its just I can still remember this sort of thing happening last Year and have this thing through years of experience, that my nuts disappear into my stomach when a game is going to give me grief, and Im getting it with this game.

as the posts and betting throughout the day seemed to forecast, strong opinions were hard to come by. I had enough chances to hedge out of the total for minimal loss but give up a profit on the Pistons at H/T for zero.

Nobody ever said this games easy ( Gambling) but these play-off games seem to be going to the theory, "dont know too much about a sport, just bet against the Herd " system, which some sharps swear by.
