Same was true last year, and close 2 years ago. How long before everyone stops groveling before the mighty SEC?
Next year USC opens (with a freshman qb) against Alabama. Ever wonder why the SEC schedules 2 or 3 games a year vs teams with hyphenated names? Personally, my belief is its very much the same as insecure, pathological types opt for incest.....no chance they'll look bad,or be refused. Come on SEC follow the big 12's lead and quit scheduling cup cakes. Play an out of conference game against ND or stanford. The old saw, "our in conference schedule is so tough, we have to," just isn't going to fly.

There's not a game there where an upset would surprise me that much, and I project several.

It's because the great Pac 12 kills it every year in the bowl games. They have too much speed for the other conferences despite not playing defense. West Coast is better at everything. Even the Notorious BIG said he's "Goin back to Cali, strictly, for the weather, women and the weed." I dare you all to bet against the Pac 12 each gameStop-SS-- and see how if works out for you.

so the pac 12 team USC opens against SEC team Alabama...shows the pac 12 not afraid to take on a major out of conference team....but the SEC team Alabama shows weakness by playing the weak out of conference pac 12 team USC...im confused

I think Oregon is going to have their hands full against a much healthier TCU team. Plus Gary Patterson is phenomenal at getting his teams up for bowl games. They are always ready and well prepared...

If by "kills it every year" you mean 35-32 ATS all time, then yeah.

What about the last 5 years? Seems they win every Rose Bowl and Holiday bowl vs the fat Big 10 and the slow Big 12 and would've won the championship if Oregon was actually allowed to practice before playing Ohio state last year

You might want to rethink the "slow" Big 12. They are 9-5 in the Holiday Bowl against the Pac 12 since 2000 including winning the last 3 in a row.

Biggest games during that time were what?

Game 1 USC vs Michigan the Mark Sanchez Rose Bowl year. USC 52 Michigan 3 or something like that...
Game 2Oregon vs Wisconsin the Russell Wilson year. Even with an incredible performance from Wilson, fell short against Oregon and failed to cover spread.
Game 3 USC vs Chokelahoma for the national championship USC 55 Chokelahom 17

THe list goes on and on. Big 10 and Big 12 are too fat and slow to compete with the elite Pac 12 teams and it shows every year.

I remember last year everyone thought Kansas State would beat UCLA blah blah blah and then they got mollywopped. Just wait and see. I'd bet any amount of money Pac 12 at least goes 2 games above .500. I don't make the odds...the oddsmakers favor them in every game for a reason! Even in their worst year in a decade favored in every game. Hilarious.

You just said that it seems the Pac-12 wins every Holiday Bowl against the "slow" Big 12. I was just pointing out to you that you're wrong.

haha typo, meant to write they'd lose 2 tops and go at least 9-3. For some reason I think Utah, Washington St and Stanford won't be as motivated for their games as their opponents. All others should win.

Well they weren't allowed to practice because their school wasn't in session. Oregon was literally not allowed to practice and Ohio State
had an extra few weeks going into the championship game.

reality check says they're 7-9 SU and ATS vs B12 and B10 last 5 years in bowls, and 1-5 SU vs the SEC ....and no national title in at least 12 years

obviously the 2-0 SU ATS vs Independents in bowl games is very impressive but not sure about the rest

personal foul...illegal use of the word "literally"

they were allowed 20 practice hours during that week, same as every week of the regular season. yes, osu was allowed more since their classes weren't in session but it was the normal prep time that oregon always experiences. awesome excuse though...bravo
