Dodo,

Then why did you post in the first place? Didn't your mommy teach you that if you don't have something nice to say..don't say anything at all?

I respect your opinion and your right to say whatever you want. This is a forum not a court of law. For that reason I will say I agree with most of what you say here.

There is only one unbeaten team left in men's college basketball. Name it..............

Good luck with your selections and your brackets during tourney time!

Miss State is solid. I'm no fan of theirs, but I follow the SEC and they went 11-0 on the road this year (8-0 in conf).
You are a moron if you think they and Duke are overrated. I don't respect your opinion.

I have zero respect for your opinion TigerVen, among many others. I agree trytry, Syracuse is poorly coached and are trash for the most part.

Actually I'd like to add Stanford to overrated (I know it won't be popular with the PAC-10 people). Buzzer beater at home vs Zona, buzzer beater at Wash St, beat up by Washington....and the PAC-10 doesn't really seem all that strong this year with only 4 teams with winning records.

sportbet,

Gambling is NOT a team sport, it can get ugly. Its importanat this time of year that I let people know that Duke,Missouri,Miss St, Ok st, are overrated trash. Jay Bilas and Dick Vitale are lying scumbags. These well meaning handicappers here suck in reality in 90% of the cases. If people like you respect my opinion, then let it be known where I stand. This is my official opinion.

Hey RailTurd...if you don't like anyone here, then why do you post your opinion? You sound like a little bitch to me. Only a bitch would claim Duke and MSU are overrated. What, do you not like their uniforms?

Dodo I don't deny your right to say what you think. I think of myself as one of the "nicer" people here and I have a losing record so there is merit with your thinking.

Oklahoma State - Yes I think late in the season they are playing as if they are overrated letting lesser teams stay in striking distance during most games.

Mizzou - I think a lot of people don't want to believe they are overrated but I think people that don't think so will continue to be lighter in the wallet.

Duke - They fit the Oklahoma State theory but Coach K does get his teams prepared for the tourney pretty well.

UConn - They are too reliant on one player and Calhoun should know better.

Pitt - Don't get me started...the offense is truly offensive.

Zona - Another hit and miss team. They seem to play tough for stretches through games but they have lapses.

ST. Joe's - I will say if they struggle from the outside they will be beaten because they have problems rebounding.

Michigan State - Another team that has lapses during games and sometimes can't get themselves out of jams.

Mississippi State - Falls into the OK State and Duke theory.

As for your underrated teams:

Washington - I haven't heard much about them this year but their numbers support your underrated mark. The fact that they aren't getting a lot of pub supports your claim as well.

Stanford - Disagree.

BYU - Maybe...but they were pitiful when conference play started and they are suspect away from home.

Murray State - Agree...they can do damage in the tourney. They toppled the mountain of their conference.

Wisconsin - Agree as well...they play better defense than most teams.

That's what I think about your list...agree with most but not with all. Good luck to you next week and in the tourney.

Underrated

as i have been saying for some time now - Utah State will scare the crap out of someone if/when they make the ncaas - and they are led by one of the BEST coaches in america - stew morrill. we saw him outcoach roy williams last year in the opening game and almost send the eventual national runners-up to OT in their first game.

USU and stew will be realllllllllly tough come ncaa time - they are thaaaaaaaaaaaat good!

OVERRATED

the ENTIRE big 11 - they will get more bids then they have earned and most will be home after the 1st weekend

winkyduck, really agree with your call on utah st. -- i am going to hammer them in the first round if they get a decent match-up....also like etsu and virg. common (if they get by george mason) for first round plays....

surprised not to see florida and kansas on the overrated list -- maybe cause everyone already knows their pisspoor

I don't know how you can have Stanford underrated but Miss St overrated. To me they are basically the same team - built for the reg season and will both be out after the 3rd round.

Rail,
Nice analysis. Of course I agree on Arizona and St. Joe's does have some weaknesses.

Manhattan is a team no one has mentioned. Last year they could have won a game or two, but ran into a hot 'Cuse in the first round. The have mostly the same team back and have run roughshod over their conference. I definitely think they will win a first round game, at the least, and possibly more given the right matchup. Luis Flores will be a household name when it is all said and done.

Winky, USU is a definite "fear factor" team, but they have been playing in coast mode the last month. Would not surprise me if UoP beats them in the BW tourney.

And I have respect for Eddie Sutton and Rick Stansbury as coaches, even if I do not have much respect for them personally. They have maximized their talent and I could see both making elite 8 runs.

Michigan St. as is everyone in the Little Ten, except Wisconsin, is crap.
Bo Ryan, if we didn't put him in the top 10 of coaches already belongs there. He has done it at ALL levels.

Pitt is poorly coached? - They are the most disciplined team in the NCAA. Always making the extra pass. Excellent defensive technique and rebounding. Play extremely physical without getting in foul trouble. Over-rated? - They have lost 3 games by a combined 7 points: on the road at UConn and Seton Hall(OT) & one home loss to an upstart Syracuse team. Pitt's offense is bad? - they don't put up 80 points often because that is not their game. They wear you down by making you play defense the entire shot clock - Pitt shoots just under 50% from the field! Their scoring is incredibly balanced so they do not have an offensive star. The only thing Pitt lacks offensively is a consistent three-point shooter. Their foul shooting has even improved drastically where that is not a big weakness. I respect everyone's opinion here but you guys are off on this one.

COULDN'T AGREE MORE.

I NEVER KNEW THEIR WERE SO MANY HANDICAPPERS IN THE LOCKERROOM BEFORE A GAME, OR AT EACH PRACTICE.

WHO MADE YOU GUYS DICK VITALE. AND HE IS AN IDIOT, HOMER, ECT.

IF IT WAS UP TO VITALE COACH K WOULD BE THE FATHER OF HIS CHILDREN, ALONG WITH EVERY OTHER DUKE PLAYER IN HISTORY.

IS EVERYONE BASIS THEIR OPINION OF TEAMS BY LOSING MONEY ON THEM, BY WINS/LOSSES, BY RPI, ROAD RECORD?

BUT BY COACHING, NO WAY CAN YOU KNOW THAT. UNLESS YOU HAVE WATCHED EVERY GAME THAT THAT TEAM HAS PLAYED. AND I KNOW FOR A FACT NO ONE HAS WATCHED EACH AND EVERY GAME OF THE TEAM THEY MENTIONED HAS PLAYED.

I EARLIER MENTIONED HAWAII IS OVERRATED. A LITTLE PISSED OFF BY THE MONEY THEY HAVE COST ME, WITH OUT A DOUBT. THE REASONING IS YOU CAN NEVER COUNT ON THEM TO WIN A BIG GAME. THEIR ROAD RECORD ISN'T VERY GOOD, AND TO LOSE TO THE TEAMS THEY HAVE AT HOME IS JUST TERRIABLE.

LETS NOT BASE OUR STATEMENTS ON A COACH. MAYBE HIS PLAYERS DON'T LISTEN, MAYBE THEY ARE JUST DOWN RIGHT STUPID. WHO KNOWS.

I sure the 10% of well-meaning handicappers would pee their pants with excitment if you would be gracious enough to reveal who they are. Do you have trouble finding hats that fit?
