you call that football?
I watched my first and only CFL game on Direct TV last night.
I had used OTtawa +19 1/2 in a couple 10 point teaser with some NFL preason games to try out a few sweetheart teasers at a few shops. needless to say B.C won by 20.
Granted I picked Ottawa +19 1/2 out of thin air as it was the first thing on the board but it gave me some action on a football game on a slow night. and some on this board have talked up the CFL as being a pretty good game.
So I watched the second half. my team was up by 7 points.
I almost threw up watching this so called football team and league.
First the rules of this CFL are a complete joke (they punt on 3rd down), and the clock seems to start and stop at strange times. Once after a change of possession the clock started going before the snap as the offensive team was lining up!
And these so called players? What a joke. And did I mention they have once sided refs as well?
I had a 7 point plead and half and I lost my +19 1/2 by 1/2 point. about 30 things had to go wrong for this wager to lose and I swear all 30 did.

On the other hand if you want FREE money, and I do mean the 100% SURE THING 100% FREE MONEY....Play against Ottawa next game, I Watch much football (but never the CFL) and this is the worst collection of offensive and defensive players I have ever seen, Brad Banks is a joke and that collection of clueless men running in random directions on defense are just sick to watch. they have ZERO chance of covering in their next game. Load up on it.

the CFL is the oldest organized league in North America... even older than the NHL
so they are doing some things right....
some games can be very exciting, some are boring... just like College or NFL...
sounds like you are just irritated cauz your play lost...
You should have looked at my advice for the second half above or checked out JJGOLD in the appropriate forum.. JGOLD has been 'Gold' in the CFL...
was yesterday's game a great game? No it wasnt... especially the seconf half....

i obviously realize that Im being sarcastic! I had three $10 teasers that lost and it was pretty funny watching to be honest.
I am sure its a fine game. And I was shocked to see a former Vikings backup (who was a horrible pro) Spurgyn Wynn? delivering bullets to BC receivers in the second half.
do they use a smaller ball in the CFL like in women’s pro hoops? Seeing that they have different rules not bad ones.

actually the ball is quite a bit bigger.
lots of scoring due to the '3' downs aswell as the HUGE endzone...
I would love for you to be able to view some of the classic 'grey cup' matches... that were played in the snow...
Doug Flutie was an Animal in this league, Jeff garcia aswell...
it is basically like the 'minors' for the NFL....
Lawrence Philips played for 50K Canadian last year in Montreal after blowing all his bridges in the NFL & guess what? his discipline problems even got him kicked out of Montreal
