Hey Savant…(or anyone else that wants to chime in)…..big game for us tonight in Calgary. I was wondering what were your thoughts on it. To me I think it’s the pivotal game of their four game trip. They need to start this trip off on the right foot. They get Vancouver on Saturday and that team looked like they were on valium last night, (or had just attended a wake). I would imagine they will be a different team once they know the final decision on Bertuzzi but he’s a huge loss for them and the incident makes me think that was the beginning of the end for them. (although they did their best at finding some putty to fill the hole he leaves)
Then Edmonton Sunday and which probably will be Ottawa winning 3-1 after two periods only to have the Oilers tie it in the third and take it to OT.
Then Minnesota for their third game in four nights. Shouldn’t be a hard game but then the Wild suddenly look like world beaters now that they play off hopes are done. (three 1-1 games in their last four? Amazing!)
