5dimes opened @:

Houston -13.5 over Presbyterian O/U 137

and

Duke -23.5 over Georgia Southern O/U 150

Northeastern opened at -6 last night and is -6.5 now with the O/U set at 127.5

Couple of things to note watching last night games: Duke's big men are completely nonexistent on both ends of the floor and it will be up to Singler to clean the glass again. Duke's offensive pace is much better with Paulus running the point and he is coming off the bench this year and will play fewer minutes.

Presbyterian played well defensively although that aggressiveness created some foul troubles for them and forced them to utilize their bench early. They hung in the game late and played hard for 40 minutes and didn't deviate from their offensive plan. These factors will be large as the talent gap narrows between the Blue Hose and the Cougars. Leaning: Presbyterian and will post final plays a little later.

Northeastern just crossed over to -7; like them to -8.5 see a 10-15 point win with an experienced team playing a squad without their top three scorers from last year and a combination of ten underclassmen.

From what I saw from Houston and Presbyterian, couldn't Presbyterian concievably beat Houston??

Bucs,

Thought the line would be no higher than Cougs -7 and initially leaning the Blue Hose but looking into now to see if I'm missing something.

Presbyterian created 21 TO's against Duke last night and played hard defensively for the full 40 minutes. Shot 30% from the field and 17% from behind the arch. See those numbers dramatically increasing today against Houston on a neutral court. A much better match up for them tonight, see a 74-67 Cougars victory. Should be able to match up better on the glass than they did last night as well.
