If you're a AAA (auto club) member go through their travel agency.

Food is included in the ticket purchse. Liquor, tips, shopping and casino will require cash.

Normally the cruise price will include all food, lodging and entertainment. It will not include alcohol, shore excursions or gratuities.

I took a Carnival cruise this summer and it was OK. I had previously been on a Disney cruise and after talking to some regular cruisers about the differences they told me Carnival is considered the value cruise line of the industry.

Yes they do but you will not see the kind of topless women you're hoping for...

Bring sweatpants on the cruise because you can eat all you want as often as you want on cruises. Midnight buffet, mmmm...

I would first ask friends or family, because you can get a real bargain then be a nightmare.

When I say ask friends or family that have taken a cruise, this is only to get an idea on what to expect.

Three seated meals and then there is a deli, pizza shop and snack bar which are also free and open almost 24 hours.

I'm not the authority. I've only been on Disney and Carnival. You get what you pay for. Disney was about 4x as much money but everything was noticably more "polished" and the food was AWESOME.
