Can anyone recommend a good picture program geared for the technically challenged (my wife). tia

yes. upload from camera, make albums, name them etc and then email. We have had a few programs that are horrible. She takes tons of pictures!

As long as she doesn't need to do extensive edits to the pictures, I would recommend Google's Picassa. The local program lets you organize your pictures and then you upload to the web site where you have albums and people can view them. The only downside to the program is that you can only edit a few things on the pictures.

I use HP Photosmart. No need to have an HP, the Wife has it and uses it all the time. I would just check it out.
Don't think you are looking for a Photo Share type of thing, otherwise I would say Photobucket.

But check out HP, it's a good program.

thank Android. I will check that out. She does very little if any editing. We had the HP program and she did not like it and it actually lost some albums..(or maybe she lost it is more like it either way its the freakin programs fault):):)
