I'm not going to try and talk anyone into making lots of money with me by betting OSU this week with the points AND on the money line (maybe), but I can answer any questions any of you have about ANY aspect of the game, whether it is ou or OSU. I may not know as much about ou but I can answer any question about OSU that might help you make your betting decision one way or another on this game. Let me know if you have any questions and good luck.

Moneyline on Oklahoma St. ???

You have got to be kidding me. There is no way OSU will beat Oklahoma!!!
The only quality team they have played is Nebraska and they lost! They played Kansas St. without Roberson! and barely won.
August 30 at Nebraska L 17-7
September 6 Wyoming W 48-24
September 13 SMS W 42-3
September 20 at SMU W 52-6
October 4 La Lafayette W 56-3
October 11 No. 21 Kansas State W 38-34 October 18 No. 23 Texas Tech W 51-49
October 25 at Texas A&M W 38-10

Yes OSU has beat them the past two years but this is a different OU team with Jason White throwing the ball. AND the last time OU lost at home was to OSU, it won't happen again.

Yes this Line is way too high but it will drop to 14 or even lower by gametime and I will take the sooners over OSU by 13.5 any day of the week.

Oklahoma played a terrible Bama team and barely won...OSU can hang as they have proven in the past.

WHITTY,

You know, they have said that every year for the last 8 years when 0SU has won 5 of that 8. The last 3 years there was NO WAY OSU could win, and yet they have won. The year before ou escaped only with a win when OSU qb slightly overthrew TE Marcellus Rivers on the last play of the game.

I have to vehemently disagree with you. OU has a better chance of winning, but playing the money line is smart.

Big Pete..... Cmon now, a terrible Bama team!??
Bama is far from terrible this year. They are mediocre at least. OU should crush OSU and there is no way OSU beats them straight up!

HEY shortbus--POST YOUR MONEYLINE BET AND well see if its smart or not!
You don't think Stoops put film early in on OSU thats why they slipped off a lttle against Colorado. He knows this is the biggest game of the year and the best coach right now in college football will have his troops fully prepared on SATURDAY!!!!

Well if it is so easy, why are they preparing so much for the game? Im sure he had his troops fully prepared after the previous years loss too, when Okla was a 24.5 point favorite. Play the 2 moneylines from the last 2 years and you can hang your coat boys.

One difference between last year and this is that the 'Pokes are ranked. When the 'Pokes have beaten the Sooners those games were their season. Playing in Houston or in Pasadena is no comparison. And for some reason Stoops plays ranked teams better than the weak sisters don't ask me why. Personally, I'm going to lay off the game because IMO it could go either way as far as the spread.

I like OSU in this game with the points, and I don't think it would be a bad idea to put a little on the monyline for OSU as well. In this huge of a rivalry it is anybody's game.

Pete, I vote your icon the best in this forum!

good luck guys

saying that Stoops will REALLY prepare his team this year is A PATHETIC reason to believe a team will win. I've heard that before already.

I would hope that he does the BEST job he can every week to prepare his players. If he doesn't, then he isn't that great of a coach.

In my opinion, the best coach in the country is in Stillwater, OK. You guys just don't know it yet.

OSU's Tatum Bell is number 2 in rushing yards. That is sharing the ball with 2 other TB's and being benched for a whole game after fumbling in the first series. 6.3 ypc, not to bad. They also have the number 2 reciever in total yards as well.

Tatum Bell may not be able to control a game but Rashaun Woods certainly can. If you don't believe that, watch the film from last year.

A couple of quotes:

``We know we are playing Oklahoma next week and they are the best team in college football, we are told.''

``The two teams that will play this Saturday -- one may be the best team in college football and the other one is a darned good football team,'' he said. ``This game will be played to determine which one is which.''

I'm totally biased. I won't try and hide it. But I'm also biased to making money, and WILL on this game.

I think the best coach is in Tuscaloosa, he just doesnt know it yet. OU still rolls. Coach Stoops or not, Oklahoma is more talented on defense. No 7 TD game for Woods this week and dont think that OU does not remember that OSU has beaten them the last two years. Wasnt it last year they beat them by 30 or something like that. White is looking good and OU is just blasting people right now. I look for a 14-21 point victory here.

I certainly think that over the total is something to look at. I would probably play it at 60something.
