Going out on a short limb here.

I see a lot of guys are on Columbus tonight and rightly so at the juicy price. But I have a gut feeling Osgood stands on his head tonight against the Blue Jackets. He's not been feeling a lot of love and rightly so as Conklin has not only out shined him so far but was in goal Wednesday against the Canadians and has now been giving the start tomorrow evening in a big Saturday night game against the emerging Bruins. Osgood just plays more comfortable in the backup role and although he's not had the no. 1 tab removed from Babcock, but he's clearly playing 2nd fiddle these days. Plus Detroit doesn't lose too many in a row at home. Hence the big price I imagine.

Detroit -.5 -105 1st period [5dimes]

In the past Detroit would grab an early 2-0 3-1 lead and then play down to the level of the opponent the rest of the game. I gonna take a chance tonight at least the first part happens again.

No disrepect here but Osgood is not a good goalie - The whole philosophy of puck possession and limiting SOG has made the guy look good in the past.

Teams seem to be getting more than 25 sog a game vs the wings this year and they are giving up more goals.

LOL! I never said he was very good.

He just let up a 75 footer from center ice.

I really nailed this one tonight!

Actually in his defence. He really only gave up one goal that was his fault. The 75 footer WAS tipped by Hossa.

And actually Powers, he had a hell of a playoff run last season when he spelled Hasek and played his ass off like he never did in his career.
