I would not be surprised if they come away with both players

Sydney Ponson could be back as well...

If Baltimore gets all three, lookout!

Ponson is almost gone I heard. What did you hear? Typical Angelos moves though, he will go for the hitters before pitchers. If Ponson is gone and Hentgen is already gone, they will really be pushing it. As it stand, why even bother spending the money on these types of players when the Yanks and Red Sox will be tough to beat for the playoffs?

Tejada has a lot of options, I wouldn't put him on any team until it is confirmed signed.

I heard today here in Baltimore they are expected to have the check book wide open come next week at the winter meetings...

Both players are only 27 (well Tejada is supposedly 27), the Orioles are not really that far away...Ponson's stock dropped off considerably after struggling in San Francisco, he should have taken the guaranteed 3 year deal that was on the table, he won't get it now... He is a second teir free agent...If they get him back they will have gotten the Giants pitchers for free in the Ponson trade...

Angelos is either going to have to put up or shutup...Baltimore will not support his 4th place team anymore...the Yard (Camden) is no longer a novelty that automatically draws 40,000....

You know I always thought that the Red Sox were going to make a surprise deal and get Vladimir. He is one of my favorite players and I just think he is awesome guy. Don't be surprised if they get him.

Borat- I disagree, they already have spent quite a bit, and could be trading for A-Rod still....Either way they are looking strong sir.

I know. Maybe it is unlikely. But I wish so bad that they get him. I now live close to Fenway park and the Red Sox are my favorites.

Did they say which Guerrero?

I don't think Eddie or Lisa would help that much, although they might be a small improvement over the current squad

Lander, they needed a manager how come you didn't get the O's to hire Greg Williams? haha After all he is clueless coaching a football team, he couldn't be much worse moving over to baseball

I wouldn't be surprised if Javy Lopez or Ivan Rodriguez isn't also signed by Baltimore as they need a catcher as well!

Bill you'd be surprised. I bet ol' Gregg would revolutionize baseball with 2 out sacfrices, pitch-outs with 3 balls and teaching the pitcher that pop flies are his.

Thank God Hargrove is gone first of all...that guy was too laid back.

Its really become embarrasing , the Orioles were once Baseball`s model franchise...And now all we have is a ballpark that everyone copied....A team that has been horrible for 6 straight years, and an owner who (along with his son`s) has mismanaged this tean into the ground. The capper was when he "chased" and signed Albert Belle in what could only be described as a desperate move to match Steinbrenner, and it cost Baltimore dearly!

So we are now back to where we can spend some money and actually have some good young arms to go with whoever we bring in...

Pudge could be another option...Unless the Orioles get two major impact players they still will have next to no chance of catching NY or Bos...And there still is no feeling of passion in Baltimore for its hometown team. The Ravens have turned this sports town upside down! Its all about The Purple!
