I want it at OU. But I'm not so sure about the coach. He gets a little too cute in some of his decision making. There's nothing wrong with FG's.

I think he's smarter than Chip was cause Chip caused them games by not kicking FGs when they were available

Didn't you guys have something similar when Jason White was the QB?

Sam Bradford 2008 was the last great offense OU had. Probably equal to this UO offense in explosiveness. OU actually runs some of the same stuff now that Oregon runs. But aren't nearly as creative with their play calling. And very inexperienced skill people.

My biggest concern with him is he doesn't seem to be as effective of a recruiter, at least to this point. Some of that may simply be the stronger coaching within the conference compared to a few years ago, but Oregon seemed to lose some bigger guys to UCLA, Washington, one of the Arizona's (ASU I think) that they haven't lost in years past. They always lost their share to the Trojans, but if that trend continues I wonder what effect, if any, that erosion will have on the squad or maybe is simply an anomaly that won't continue.

Once Mariota is gone, so is the Oregon explosiveness. They do not have backs like USC has. They must have a QB that can take the team on his shoulders or Oregon will not repeat as Pac 12 Champs. They are not real impressive so far. Oklahoma will never recruit players like Oregon gets because Stoops is simply not that kind of HC.

we're not going to worry about next year yet....We have business to take care of this year.. This program right now will be fine going forward...this isn't a one year shot..

The Ducks are supposedly the front runner for Miller, which be a huge land for next season. Meyer said he expects him back, but I just don't see it. FSU is also in the mix for his services next season.

I can see somebody taking a shot at OC Frost to get such an offense. It have to be for HC, though. Being Oregon OC is a pretty good gig. Any other OC position would be lateral at best.

Stoops recruited those kinds of players in 2008 and earlier. But Baylor is getting those players now. Along with Texas A&M. The Texas recruiting wars is much more of a cut throat business than it was 10-15 years ago. Much more spread out between schools. And Oregon came down a stole a couple too.

If OU could ever go back to getting nothing but 4 and 5 star players and being a top 10 recruiting program, I actually prefer FSU's pro style offense. If you have the personnel there's no need to run the fancy stuff...

I heard that when Dixon left, then when Masoli left, then when Thomas left. they've got another guy in the pipe and a couple of recruits as well. Funny, but what if they end up with Braxton Miller from Ohio St. That was his original choice before committing to Buckeyes

Oregon does not talk much about salaries and comp but those guys are getting taken care of big time. Uncle Phil takes very good care of them

Oh really, Royce Freeman, Thomas Tyner and Byron Marshall should return to RB once Bralon Addison is healthy.
