Oh man, I hardly know where to begin and I'm a little short on time as I write so I'll come back and give this one a little more detail later.

This one is a GIFT!

To sum it up in a hurry, Oregon was NOT concentrating on Indiana last week because of this game but they led in every stat but points on the board. This is understandable tho I don't like the concentration they showed. They OBVIOUSLY had their minds looking a week ahead. But this week will be different. Oklahoma is but a mere shadow of their team in years past and I don't see why in the hell they would be laying over 4 TDs in this spot.

What a GIFT! Ducks plus points is the play. (more to come)

I agree Conan.

I watched the entire Indiana-Oregon game (as an IU alum). Oregon returned the opening KO for a TD and it got called back and that totally killed their momentum. They were also -5 in TO Margin (4 fumbles in the 1st Qtr alone). I think this line is too high, but I do think Oklahoma is as good as their previous teams.

Oklahoma is a team that averaged a 27 point win margin and thats even better at home. In addition they return 17 starters. This could get ugly real quick.

Looks good on the surface but too dangerous for me.

Conan I agree and was thinking the same thing.

Reminds me of Notre Dame over Michigan after getting beat by BYU.

ND trained all summer with emphasis on the Michigan game. They didn't give respect to BYU and it cost them. Can only imagine Oregon was game planning for OU the entire summer and wants this game and skipped over IU more than they should have.

Don't think Oregon is going to win but could keep it within the spread.

I like Belotti to muster a hard effort in a brand-name tilt, even from one of his worst squads, but would have to rate OU slightly over USC to date as #1, despite the 1st game defensive allowances & opening drive to Houston.

Stoops may show mercy to a respected HC here?

I bit on this game and took Oregon as well at +29. They should be much more prepared for this game. Only thing that scares me is the propensity for Oregon teams in the past to go into the tank after disappointing losses. Oh well, to late for second guessing.

I just got back from a sportsbook and I am starting to lean towards Oregon for 1 reason. All the normal sportsbook fleas(jackasses) love OU next week. These are the guys that live in their cars and hang in the book all day. Tourists who don't know better actually listen to these guys touting games. I listen so I can fade them. Last week they liked Texas and Michigan for example.
Love the anti-jackass angle.

Don't know what you're all looking at but Oklahoma's a powerhouse again and Oregon's a middle-of-the-road PAC-10 team and it's at Oklahoma. Sooners roll big; lay the points.

Oklahoma's secondary is still getting adjusted. So far the OU D is yet to get an osky. And Oregon should do their best to take care of the ball since they had a buttload of turnovers last week. I'm thinking OU will have their ears pinned back and come at the Oregon QB which will give OU atleast 2 picks (look for Brodney Pool playing centerfield). The history in this series has been ugly for the Ducks but it was almost 30 yrs ago since they last faced each other.

1975: OU 62-7
1972: OU 68-3
1966: OU 17-0
1958: OU 6-0

Dan Fouts called it his worst college football memory. The Selmons and the rest of the OU D took him out of the game. Norv Turner was his replacement. But that was the old quack attack. I see Oregon scoring 20 sum odd points but OU can score often aswell. OU's 3rd down conversions is close to 68%. Jason White is playing with an edge and looks unstoppable. Each teams best defense will be it's offense.
I kinda like Oregon but can't pull the trigger. Best advice: DON'T TOUCH IT!

On a side note: Sooners DT Dusty Dvorcek may be suspended for this game because of a bar brawl.
