Orange Bowl Thoughts..

I have not bet Ohio State all year, and really only ever take them unless they are in a dog role. I never lay more than 7 on a team and they have been big favs all year again. The team has been hit with some type of virus in Florida. Over a dozen kids have been sick this week including braxton miller. They lose 3 more starters off the defense for this game. Best defensive lineman soph DE Spence and 2 dbs ( starting 2 more new freshman in the secondary). Not to mention most of the defense is made up of freshman and sophmores.

Early thoughts were playing the over, but now really starting to like Clemson.

Any thoughts?

i am in ohio and locals always pump up the numbers, hoping to catch a 4 or 5.. may still play the over because osu will score, just dont think they will score as much as clemson.

i am still not sold on the coaching and motivatoin may be hard... need to make at least 4 changes on that staff imo

D backs should be 1st. Kerry Combs is a high school coach that Urban knew.

yes, combs is horrible. all he does is scream and act like a nut. clearly cannot coach secondary

Clemson, OSU pass defense average at best, ithink Watkins has a big game, also read where food poisoning or the flu has hit OSU, over a dozen players got it, including some starters

OSU has almost given up 2,000 yards in the past 4 games. Absolutely getting scorched on D. Now you take Spence out of the equation. They better be prepared on offense to score 40+ because they aren't going to stop this Clemson O.

Osu a team with great expectations was upset in their conf champ game, now favored in a bcs game, playing a traditional football power off a disappointing season.

I like Clemson in this game .. took the 3 awhile back.. Beating LSU last year in the bowl game convinced me this team can win big games.. I don't see Ohio St stopping Clemson's offense....
