His bowl record for the past six years is just scary good. The guy's a friend of mine and he's cutting his price in half for me. If it is $50 per person, regardless of how many people, how is that splitting it with you? Nothing personal, but it sure sounds a lot more like you are just shilling for him at $50 for the bowl season. Maybe he is giving you a cut? Or maybe there is no "friend" and you are giving out your own plays?
So I'm wondering why not just tell us the total amount and we'll see how many people kick in and we'll split it? So if 20 people go in with you at $50 a pop, that is $1000. Are you saying that is his "special" rate?

I have been posting here for over two years and have always enjoyed discussion on all types of situations from college to pro....and I have NEVER proposed anything like this before. I genuinely thought that I had a group of friends here that would love the opportunity to pool resources and get (what I think) is a good service FOR THE BOWL GAMES ONLY. The few guys that chip in $50 aren't going to come anywhere close my cost, so I just tried to come up with a small nominal number. It is extremely disappointing to come here and read shit like what "harrington" just wrote. Shill???....tout????? That is really insulting! You ungrateful mother-fvckers can all toss my salad!
