Me too MC. Looks like Penn lost thier best player from last year, and they are starting 3 or freshman. However, this game is a local rivalry so the home court for lasalle is not as important.

Maybe someone in Philly can add to this thread. I thought that most of the BIG 5 games were to be played at the Palestra (anyone??).

I like LaSalle here as they have been playing good ball lately -- the read I get is that they should be able to control the glass and a rebounding advantage and the home court is a very big plus, plus in my book.

Only things keeping me off is the gametime and the fact that it is a big rivalry game -- last time I bet an early game I was on George Washington over Fairfield and had to endure them blowing a 14 point lead in the last 3 1/2 minutes -- I swear, Vegas just kills the public on games like this.

GL anyway!!

LaSalle is playing out of their heads but they usually can't handle playing methodical Penn basketball and turn the ball over enough to cost them a win. The Quakers aren't exactly making anyone notice them (other than beating Lafayette by 20) either. If I had to I would take the Explorers but the Quakers have been good against the rivals this year.

Good luck...

Well fwiw the Quakers are throttling the Explorers by 18 with 6 minutes left. Typical LaSalle...can't break the Penn defense.
