Opening day at Hollywood Park

for the remainder of the meet I will try to come in here and give out a few horses i like daily....just a little background on me....im 28 and i live in northern california....I grew up on horse racing....been betting since i was like 14....I started out betting harness racing at cal expo years ago....my father is a big fan of throughbreds so i got into them when i was like 16-17 and ive always followed the west coast race scene....before when u went into any simulcast facility in california you could only bet the west coast tracks and maybe a few import races from the east....well now they bring in the whole card from all the east coast tracks....that was my downfall....in east coast racing everything is so evenly matched it limits the players odds of winning....out here in the west though sometimes you can get lopsided races....sometimes I stress....ive been to del mar....went to the breeders cup when pleasently perfect won at santa anita....been to gg fields and bay meadows....never been to hollywood....ive been betting the races wed thru sun off and on the last 10 years....well just recently ive decided it was time to take a break from the simulcast facilities and only place bets when i go to the track live....i needed to come down of a serious high....LOL....anyways enough about me now on to my picks for today....ill try and give you all 2 horses a day to key on top....also ill give you reasons why i like them

Hollywood Park race 5 aprox post 6:22pm est #3 Corey County///ive seen this horse run...likes the turf...decent turf trainer neil drysdale...one of the top jockeys victor espinosa...i havent seen this horse in a while and all the sudden he appears at hollywood on opening day...hmmm

Hollywood Park race 7 aprox post 7:22pm est #5 Ticker Tape///ive seen this horse run...bred for the turf...good rider david flores...always makes a big move...i was never a fan of kent desormeux so i like the jockey switch...nice post...should give ya a good run if he stays out of trouble

hey thanks for posting your opening day hollywood picks,....great call in race5,....been kinda lurkin all day and just my luck i see the post about 15 minutes to late,...oh well gl on the next pick you gave out,....heck as im typin this i just hit a horse at golden gate at 6to1 so if i dont give it back i might have to pay attention to the odds and play your pick:modemman:

Horrible ride on the 5. The 3 got the jump on her. I'm all for trying to take the rail but damn he let every horse get a better position on her. She had a lot of run in her. But a little short.


Either way good pick dumbass jock cost ya.
