Hey habsman, you didn't tell me where you live now, and you didn't say your age, so when you say you grew up with the Habs, are you talking about the 70's, 80' or 90's habs. I grew up idolizing Guy Lafleur, and watched the whole dynasty of 4 straight Stanley Cups in the late 70's. Boy were those great times for the Sick One. But how can you be still a habsfan, who cares about them now. They are not like before. Just a bunch of no names with no superstars. I could care less about them now, and not even a fan like I used to be growing up. I am just so happy and privileged that I grew up in this city with the likes of Lafleur, Richer, Lemaire, Robinson, Shutt, Mahovlich, Dryden, and got to see them play growing up, than this crap they have today with only Koivu and Theodore who kids can idolize, and a bunch of unknowns. Sometimes when I see a kid with a Habs shirt on the street playing ball hockey (which is every corner here in Montreal) I feel like stopping and telling him stories of how it was here 25 yrs ago, and how he would have loved the team back then 200 times more than today and what he has missed. Oh well, but then again, I have 55 yr olds telling me how lucky they were and unlucky i am that I missed The Rocket and Beliveau in their hay days. True, I would have paid anything to have seen them play live just once.
Good luck kid, and nice move on the avatar, and I am very happy you got rid of that silly clown. Now you look like a real man.
