IMO online poker is the least rigged of the online games...collusion occurs I m guessing 75% of the time..but if you protect your hand you will do nicely

I have always wondered how easy it would be to have a robot getting dealt good cards at a table..

But the way people play so often, i would think they would catch on..

For a site as big as partypoker, or pokerstars, im sure the rake is enough for them to be happy, they are making a fortune..

collusion would be your biggest worry..

Another way of "fixing" the online poker games I have heard about is "inflation" of hands to get the betting and rake higher. For example, I recently played holdem at Bodog poker. I swear to god I saw 3 4 of kinds dealt at the table I was playing in in about an hour. Of course, the losers had full house, flush, etc. and the betting was insane.

There is a well known systems called winhodem and pokerbot.

more info at www.winholdem.net

If u get caught with it running on your primary pc and Party detects it, they confiscated your ENTIRE account. they shut you down and you have nothing. You need a second pc to run it detection fee.

Serious question for the blind online poker followers.

How do you really know the RNG is fair?

These sites say they are certified but if you go to the independant company they have no phone number and don't respond to e-mails.

I mean how come I can always win playing poker at my local brick and mortor room but hardly ever win online?

Why would huge place like Party poker or Pokerstars that is just printing money take a chance of getting caught and getting exposed?

For the same reason Enron did.

GREED.

Geez some people are so naive.

Baseballguy- No reason to try to insult someone in order to help your position. I believe it would be easy to rig the sites, however If you sit down and do the math and you still think that it is worth it, for a place that has 25000 active players at vitually all time, to steal $6000 a day and risk being exposed, then you are being naive yourself. I have been fortunate to meet a couple of people that are involve in one of the major sites and I felt comfortable with them. Also using the example at the top of the thread, the odds of you even being effected by a few fixed hands a day would be very remote. Now if you are playing at a site that is very small, then I agree anything is possible, but I am only talking about the giants out there that have very little need to do something corrupt.

Like I said, the too much to risk excuse really holds no water.

Several MULTI-BILLION dollar companies have risked their company and reputations just to steal an extra couple million.

Some off the top of my head. Enron, Tyco, WorldCom (All of these companies dwarf all of the pokersites combined)
