I won rather easily yesterday for my first pick of the season. Tonight is an EXTREMELY small card. I sort of like Marquette, but I cant pull the trigger on that game yet.

My pick for tonight is

Tennessee Tech +17

That is a lot of points for a team that is 5-2 for the season and won their last game by 47 points

I see a fair amount of people on this play and I am just curious about your thoughts on this. I know that Florida St really has not blown out anyone and that 17 is a lot of points. However, Tenn Tech has not played anyone of any strength at all this year and (arguably) the strongest team that they played (Jacksonville St) they were at home and got blown out by 16 points. Any insight would be appreciated. Thanks:toast:

The fact that Tech has played squat so far makes this game impossible to wager on. Right or wrong this is a game to stay away from.

stay away IMO. Fla St will surprise a lot of people this year and I just can't back a team that is supposed to finish in the middle or even bottom of a very weak OHIO VALLEY conference. They don't really have a go to scorer and although they have Brandon Northern (great rebounder) I just see them not being able to keep up with Fla St.

Yeah, my system says TTECH also... but my gut says FLA ST is gonna come out to win. TTECH even with those big wins is ranked as garbage. Goodluck man, I bet on TTECH but for very very little.

Well of course Florida State wins the game. I am quite sure that they will be ahead by 14 points or so at least 1 time during the game. But I am handicapping a 6 point win in this game. That is a 11 point differential from the spread.

I'm not saying you will lose but I just don't see a reason to play this one. Going off of stats alone would suggest that Tech is a good play tonight but when you look at the level of competition it is sure hard to place a bet on this game. PO I actually hope you win because I don't cheer against anyone's money but I think it is best to sit this one out.
