One free point on every game this season...what team do you take?

MY SPORTS BOOK IS RUNNING A "FAVORITE TEAM" PROMOTION WHERE YOU GET A 1/2 POINT PER GAME FOR 2 NFL TEAMS FOR THE ENTIRE SEASON AND 1 POINT FOR 2 NCAA TEAMS FOR THE ENTIRE SEASON.....WHO WOULD YOU TAKE???

Interesting idea, though not a ton of value, as it may not be a good idea to bet on one team the entire season.

In college, Georgia or Washington.

In Pro, Seattle or Cincy.

In pros I'd take a team with a top 10 defense that still figures to be a dog in a lot of the games they play (more value for your half point that way as statistically you should end up betting more dogs than faves during the season and the 1/2 point is worth more in lower scoring games), so I think the Redskins and Bears would be pretty good candidates, with the 49ers pretty close behind.

We have no idea if a team will be sitting on a lot of dead numbers or not. And if a bookie gets a lot of action out of this, he'll keep his lines on 2 and 5 rather than 2.5 or 5.5 or whatever
