ON THE LIGHTER SIDE Is anyone aware as to whether any Rx Constributors (Past or Present) has Spent any time in Jail

I'll be the first to confess. Back in 1954, (i was 21 years old) we were drinking in this bar in Madison, Wisconsin when a conversation began to gin-up as to whether Big-10 football was better than SEC football. I suggested that Southeastern conference football was just as good and perhaps, arguably, better at times. Some of the Big-10 elite fans that were present took offense when I said that...suddenly an "altercation"
erupted (a mini-bar room brawl) between 7 or 8 patrons were involved. The police were called and all 8 of us were arrested and hauled off to jail with disorderly conducted charges pending. Hours later we were released on our own recognizance; The charges were eventually dropped.

There are a couple of those participants still live including me which keeps that "debate" from long-ago still alive. True story (ha).
I think everyone will agree.....The beat goes on today

was at a restaurant having dinner with some friends. A drunk came over to our table and
started insulting my friend's wife. We ask him to leave several times and he continued
his vulgar insults. Finally I got up and dropped him with one punch. Police came and took
me to jail. I was bailed out in hours and all charges were dropped when those in the
restaurant took my side.

I was kind-of hoping some of the RXers could identify a few poster from the past that are no-longer with us because they are either doing jail-time, or committed to the "Looney farm" for treatment or observation.

Whormoan was a straight up criminal who did time. I remember him well in here. I never really got into it with him, but Conan can tell you all about him. He was a west coast honk that was always getting into it with the west coast posters. He was an asshat just like Bigdaddy. But I don't think it was the same person. Their posting styles were too different.

I spent a night in the Duval County jail for a drinking incident (when I was 21)....and another night in the same jail when I was a juvy (for some mischievous crap that I didn't do myself, but was w/ some other guys who actually did the deed - all 4 of us went downtown for it!). And I have a Top Secret Security clearance!!!

I always suspected that Whormoan was trouble but I didn't want to stir the pot; The West Coast posters (Conan et al) know how to take care of themselves in this Forum, besides, I figured it was a territorial/rivalry thing. Guys like Whormoan, Big Daddy, Junk (whatever his number was) etc. will always find a way to filter into the Rx Forum where a lot of savvy/knowledgeable football people contribute in good faith because they love the game and don't mind making a "wager or two" during the course of the season while they share a little information. Nature usually finds a way to run these bad-asses off.

Life and its adventures are probably more important than RX CFB to Mr. C.

No matter....welcome his knowledge ... especially Pac 12 stuff if he chooses.

I have to agree with you Clover.....If someone "ruffles" Conan's feathers......they better be on solid ground.....He knows West Coast (Pac-10) football like a hound dog knows when he is on the trail of a sly fox. The only thing that baffles me is how and where he acquires those Avatars he uses.....You can't buy those at the grocery store..........

His name is Eric Abrams. I think he is still Stanford's all-time leading scorer. (1993-1996) But the rest of the time he was just another Jerry Sandusky that had a thing for young boys. He did inappropriate things with them. Here he was an antagonist a lot like big daddy who focused on the Pac-10 and its posters here such as myself.
