Omnivorous Frog thoughts and bs on 4/25...

Bos/Ind un 186 2 units.

One of my career stiffest plays was the Pacers vs. Boston. How humbling. Normally experience pays off in this matchup, but Boston's bench was just awesome. Points in the paint, and LaFrentz playing non stiff, for once. Basically looked like older guys packed it in early when things were not going thier way. Couple of protested calls, followed by T's just ended the show. I just do not see a repeat performance of the Celtics scoring. If anything Indy will rollback to a more defensive approach, slow and methodical. Doubt LaFrentz will be perfect again. He is just as prone to go ofer. O'Neal will have a much stronger game, especially in the paint. They will not let the bench of Celtics run by them this game. I do not like the matchups enough to back the Pacers in this game, on the road. It is supposed to be a bounce play for vet team off of a humiliating loss. I would rather try the under. Everything went right for Celtics last game, and it was still an under. Look for Indy to at least D it up this time, and not to rollover. Possible overconfidence and letdown on Celts. Playoff dynamics are much different than regular season. Except for can't slow it down Suns, lot of teams slowed down. So far totals 1-0. Try and work the hot commodity here.

Frog, I am done with pissin matches with you, I like the Pacers will good in this matchup, I think Reggie Miller 1-7 and Oneal 3-12 performance in game #1 was not expected, I think they will both play their game tonight. Paul Pierce had a rough game #1 2-11 from the field, but both Lafrentz and Payton played extremely good, I just cant see these two playing this kind of game back to back. I think the Celtics bench was the difference in game #1. The Celtics bench shot 14-24 VS The Pacers 6-23. I think the Pacers got their wakeup call, I agree with you Frog, I think Indiana will play alot better DEFENSE tonight. my predicted score the Pacers 93 Celtics 86.

got to disagree with frog in this (respectfully disagree), i think the pacer offense will show up, expecting a closer game with fouls at the end.. i almost backed boston in this one but chose the over instead.. my score celtics 100 / pacers 93.

I'm leaning towards the under as well..

According to the papers, Indy's game plan is to slow the game to a crawl.. one player quoted as saying they want the fast break scores to be 0-0

So even if miller, oneal rebound from their poor games, Indy's going to D up and use up the clock. Lafrentz made up for Pierce's bad game, and so even if pierce does better, there's no way lafrentz has another huge game.

Never too excited taking over, especially in the playoffs. Just attracted to the spot of Mavs bouncing with a better offenisve output. Can't envision Dirk stinkin it up back to back at home. He will get good treatment. The entire team shot a woeful 35%fg. They are a normal 46 to 47%. They went to the line all game long. They averaged 104 ppg. reg season to a weak 86 last game. Both numbers should comeback towards average tonight. Good chance Mavs top 100, and Rockets follow up with 95 or 96. Do not see Mavs in hole early, nor shooting bricks an entire game again. I am thinking this is a comeback high scoring effort by the Mavs. Taking it to the hole. Just have to see if little general is in over his head coaching in the playoffs. Poor Avery looked lost, and had no answers early. If he cannot get them out and take higher % shots early in the clock it might fizzle. That is what is keeping it a 1 unit play. But veterans players in the playoffs have a greater tendency to bounce back strong than stink it up again. I think Rockets get their points no matter what. Also feel this is a 7 game series.

The thread is clean no pissing matches, thanks Baseball Guy and Sport Savant. Well those who know me know I had a hedgehog av for sometime. If I had a large position under 87 and 86 I would be inclined to go over 91 to 91 1/2 in the second half for a small %. I am looking at un 87 and now ov 80. Pretty decent range. Seperate from plays and tracking, just an angle you may try with leads. Got lucky after disaster 1Q. 6 points in last 44 seconds with 3 pointer getting to the line. Never foul a shooter behind the arc. 52 points! Well, decent shape, let us bring this under home.

I am kicking myself for not piggybacking you on that $L. Scalp and free middle. Still got some good range on the total. Love the dog and under result for both of us. 2Q was turning point for flow of game. Both grinding now.

Sport Savant, I am posting from FROG country. Get a small 2 unit gloat post here as the under was a breeze by 25 points. Probably could have withstood an OT, but it fell so most of us won, that is what counts. Do not win an un86 by 25 too often. Almost makes up for Pacers game #1. I had the right team, just chickened out after ugly first game. Pacers D showed today by holding Boston to 79 at home. That is more of what I thought would happen. Working ov 89 1/2 to un 93 1/2 but still 1 unit lean on ov 89 1/2. I really like the clean threads. Let's make some $$$...OF:howdy:

I must admit, you were attacked, but that is not the point. I want zero pissin contests. I have some real followers that are risking serious money. I owe it to all to try and it keep it clean. We can make some sweet cake if I am left alone to make my calls, especially my leads. I have to keep off the front page. I get in trouble too easy there. And the Tracker was a failure, as I was unhappy there. I like communication in the thread between the cappers. As long as we all work together, my focus is on profiting. Yes, the over looks like money at this point. I have just asked the question in my thread, but I will ask it here as well. The line has just come out for game 3 of the Pacers/Celtics and I think the line is WAY TOO LOW. Pacers opened at -2.5 and I am on them at -2 at -115. Do you think the line is this low due to Jermaine O'Neal's status. I havent heard anything about him, but I do know that he was in constant pain in tonight's game. If he does play in game 3, I think this line is a little low. It should have opened at -4 and I think Indy -2 in very generous. I will gladly take the Pacers. Hope Jermaine O'Neal is OK. Any thoughts?
