Olympic Betting Anyone? - Lots of EASY bets.

First off. I HATE and detest 'locks' and 'easy bets'. I'm looking over some of these Olympic bets on Bodog and I see some easy money. Bets aren't being placed yet, this is kind of the defacto 'Olympic Discussion'.

Firstly..

Most Overall Medals - USA 11/10.

I don't see why China is being hyped as the favorite to take over the most medal count? 2004, 62 medals. 2000, 59. USA will finish somewhere in the 90's. Are they really going to jump + 35 medals just because they're at home? With that being said, they should get the most Gold medals.

China - Under 94.5 Medals.. - 120

Again, 62 and 59. I don't see where they'll jump 30 + medals.

Russia - Over 79.5 Medals.. - 130

92 and 88 in the previous last 2 Olympics. They'll clear 80 without too much problem.

Japan - Over 33.5 Medals.. - 120

37 medals in 2004. Relatively close to home will help. I would have thought the line would be better at 39.5 medals.

Mens Soccer.. Argentina + 200

They won Gold in 2004. They're bringing by far the most talented team. Brazil's really the only other team who could be a viable threat, but it's doubtful.

Womens Softball.. USA 1/6

Is that value? Not really. Is it a sure thing? Yeah. They won Gold in 04.. and didn't give up a run. Expect the same results.

Haven't seen line yet but for me USA to win gold basketball is a banker.
If line not totally ridiculous will hammer it .

The Mens basketball line has been going down though. It opened close to -400 to win gold, but keeps dropping. If it gets down to around -200 I will absolutely unload on it. No way is USA losing this Olympics.

I wouldn't touch the soccer. It's tough to say who will be good and who won't. In '04 Iraq was in the gold medal game, so that tells you how much the stronger countries don't care about Olympic soccer. The Soft Ball is pretty much a sure thing though.

Spain , Lithuania , Russia , Greece and Argentina will be hard nuts to crack . And of course no way it will drop to - 200 or even - 250 .

The only team that might danger the American dominance is Spain but then again if you match up the Spanirads NBA ligioners with the American players,if the Americans motivated enough,no one could come close.i think this is the strongest team USA sent since Jordan played in the olympics.
