Arizona State is a very talented team that has been flying below the radar. This team is led by perhaps the Pac 10's best all around player in Ike Diogu with a solid and maturing supporting cast who defeated Vanderblt 87-68, Temple on the road 65-62, Santa Clara 68-63 which defeated North Carolina 77-66 and just lost a tough game on Thursday to Gonzaga 87-91, and finally Stanford on the road this past Thursday 81-69. Meanwhile Cal lost to Arizona 67-87, a team that was beaten by Stanford today 87-76 and hasn't been the same team this year due to the loss of starting forward Leon Powe to injury as well as the loss of starting guard Ayinde Ubaka. Cal was more up for the game against the Wildcats. Meanwhile, it is payback for this improving Sun Devil team. Hence, a strong play.
