In the finals between Miami and Dallas, the Under is 4-0 against the closing number too date. The linesmaker has only adjusted 5 points through 4 games. No reason to change now. Best of luck to you my friend! :toast:

OMT,

I'm going to ask for your opinion ONCE AGAIN. I apologize if it's a hassle, but your opinion is highly regarded. What do you make out of the 3 point line movement? It seems to me that there's too much public money on Miami to back them. What are your thoughts?

Thanks in advance, and good luck tonight on the under

The line movement does not surprise me. The public still believes that the Heat can win, particularly in Lebron James, Dwayne Wade and Chris Bosh are intense, active and focused and they must believe that tonight. However, this just isn't the case IMHO. The Heat are at their best when they are penetrating and driving to the hoop. Their outside shooting is suspect. That's why whenever Dallas employs the zone defense, they are able to make stops and close gaps if they are behind, because the zone blocks off the penetration and forces the Heat to make outside shots. They did it in Games 2 and 4 and went on runs in both 4th quarters of those games wiping out signifant leads by the Heat. This is a very close series and the Heat may very well win tonight, but the line is just wrong. With such a pivotal Game 5, expect both teams to give everything they have tonight to put themselves one game away from the championship. Best of luck whatever you decide tonight! :toast:

By the way, currently SportsOptions is now showing the public favorite is Dallas at 58%.

I completely agree about the Heat being effective when driving to the hoop. Why they aren't getting to the bucket is beyond me. You make a ton of valid points.

Thanks again and good luck!

They are getting to the hoop when the Mavericks are playing man to man and double team trapping but cannot get there when Dallas plays zone because the middle of the Maverick defense is protecting against the penetration. That is what it is suppose to do and it has been very, very effective.

Great points OMT really respect what you have to say. I think the fact the Dallas has come back time and time again in this series, they will have to play much more of that zone defense and Barrea and Kidd will dictate this game for us tonight. Dallas knows it will be extremely hard to win both games in Miami therefore due or die tonight my friend . I'm riding the MAVS train tonight. GL OMT

Thank you. Glad to hear you agree. If form holds true, it should be another game where neither team reaches 90 with both teams landing near the mid 80's. Best of luck to you tonight! :toast:

Thank you. Appreciate the kind words. I have also wondered why Dallas doesn't employ the zone more often against the Heat and believe it to be that they don't want to give up too many offensive rebounds and put backs early in the game and fall too far behind. They seem to be comfortable going to it in the 4th quarter with the game and pressure on the line. Don't get me wrong, I still have a series play on the Heat, but this series is a lot closer then I believed it would be. Best of luck with your play on the Mavs tonight! :toast:
