Decided to start this thread early as although I expected that strong 3* plays would present themselves, frankly I didn't expect one to be available this early in the power conference tournament play. Since I feel the line may move in this game, I made the play already and wanted to post it on the forum for those who may be interested. I anticipate a number of additional plays and I will post throughout the day starting tomorrow morning. I will edit this thread with my updated record upon conclusion of the ongoing games and as I post additional plays. Expect a running thread throughout the day. Hence we start with my strongest play of the day.

3* Syracuse -3

Overall Unit Record YTD: (154-129.9)(+24.1) 5*(1-0)(+5.0) 3*(10-5)(+13.5) 1*(119-102-5)(+5.6)
Overall W/L Record YTD: (130-107-5) 54.85%
NCAAB Record YTD: (80-77-2)(-4.2)
NBA Record YTD: (15-10-2)(+6.0)
NCAAF Record YTD: (21-8)(+22.0) (Final Bowl Game Record 19-8 Included)
NFL Record YTD: (14-12-1)(+0.3)

Plays are rated 1*-5*

Good Luck All.

First edit to add updated record.

OldManTed,

I really like this game. It seems that SYC has learned to play without Edlin. I also think that BC will struggle against the zone. Looks great.

Good luck,
Ku

Glad to hear you like Syracuse. Your statements say it all in a nutshell. Congratulations on a nice solid win on East Carolina tonight. The cover was never in doubt. Well done. Best of luck to you tomorrow and in the future.

hey ted, dont know if you had a chance to check out my NBA thread today, 3-0 in NBA with 1 pending & 2-0 in NHL with none pending.

am on SYR..

any knowledge as to why no line at Pinny?

also would you consider laying the -150 under any circumstances? & for the heck of it...since it is a big game, why not chat a bit...do you see them coming on strong or finishing strong...1/e first/half bets?

anway sorry to ramble & dont mind me...just a little wired, still enjoy a 5-0 day, so far.

SS

p.s am positive units in NCAAB aswell due to RX.

Congratulations on another great day in the NBA as well as the NHL. You're on fire! As for Pinnacle, I have no idea why they haven't posted their lines today. Oly is available though. The answer to your question is no. I would not play the ML. Expecting Syracuse to control the pace and defensive play of this game throughout. Not concerned about start or finish. Just control. I was unimpressed by the Eagles performance today against the Hoyas and the meeting between these two earlier in the year was completely controlled by Syracuse. Remember, this game is in Madison Square Garden and the Orangemen will have significant crowd support in this game even though it will be an afternoon start. Continued good luck to you.

Oldmanted,

Nice call on Villanova. I didn't play it but it was a nice gutsy call. In regards to the Cuse, don't think I will play it as I can make cases for both sides but have slight lean to Cuse due to their recent play, tournament experience, and Boeheim. Best of luck.

OldManTed,

Georgetown makes a lot of teams look like crap when they play them. It seems like other teams play down to them. Saw it with pitt and Syracuse to name a few. Many more examples of it. They have done it historically but in the past they would win ugly. Now they just lose ugly.

Take care,
Ku

BC just beat Gtown pretty easily...

I know BC lost to cuse earlier in the year and you the crowd may be in favor of cuse but anything else?

Smith had almost 30 pts but noone else on bc really contributed - since then their record has been superb and they have played against some really good teams.

in the earlier BC/Cuse matchup mcnamara scored 26 pts (he averages 16) and shot 53% from the field and 67% from 3 range (he averages about 37% on the season in those categories).

Also edelien had 17...

I havent bet the game yet but I see it being a lot closer than last time.

look forward to your thoughts
