Two plays for today. Hopefully the results will be better then my first release on New Mexico yesterday. Since the first game goes off in an hour, will despense with the write-up. Am considering a bump in rating to a strong play on the Peach Bowl release. Will be back later once I have decided if it is warranted. Would like to win the Music City Bowl first and decide later. Hence,

1* Minnesota/Alabama Under 47
1* Florida +4

Overall Unit Record YTD: (42-33-1)(+9.00) 3*(0-1)(-3.30) 2*(2-0)(+4.00) 1*(38-27-1)(+8.30)
Overall W/L Record YTD: (40-28-1) 58.82%
NCAAF Record YTD: (28-24-1)(+2.60)
NFL Record YTD: (12-4)(+6.40)

Plays are rated 1*-3*

Good Luck All and Happy New Year.

Good luck

On your plays. I really like Florida tonight. I only wish they line was still +6, but I think they will be extremely fired up to play Miami tonight. The Gators definitely have the best QB and have plenty of talent on Defense to shut Block Berlin down.

Geaux Gators.

OldmanTed: I get a sick and eerie feeling everytime i bet an under in a college football game. It is one of the hardest things to do in college football. The advantages toward the offense in this game are numerous. Clock stoppages all the time, penalties, etc... I think as a whole the defenses in college football are anemic. With that being said, i wish you the best of luck and i will hop on the wagon with you since i predicted a Alabama victory by the score of 20-16 lets hope we are right. Happy New Year!

I too get that same feeling, especially after noting that Minnesota has only gone under 47 twice this year. However, the books know this as well and often adjust their line up from what they feel it should be knowing that bettors are reluctant to bet the under. They trap bettors playing the over and have more points for the game to eventually go under.

I'm playing this one under. Thanks OMT.

I had been meaning to ask you about under in the Bama game since the lines came out. I hit it early at 48 becasue I was afraid it would fall It rose to 48.5 so I thought I screwed up. Anyway I figured you would like this play because I know you went to the under train with Bama on a few occasions earlier in the year. Bama has a strong D, terrible O, and Minne is a run team so the clock should move.

I'm glad to see you on it Teddy becasue you are a long term winner

I also took Barber under 80.5 yards and Maroney under 90.5 yards due to Alabama's D. They average giving up only 119 yds/game.

Quantomleap: Wasnt trying to talk anyone out of their bets, but i know for a fact that Minnesota is horrible defensively. Hoping for a shutout for you guys the rest of the way. Time will tell. I was just trying to state what i thought about under plays as far as college football goes. Too many things happen throughout the game that favors the offense. 17-14 and hopeing that it goes under for ya. Time will tell.

Hi Ted,

I was wondering what do you see in Florida? I like them as well just wanted to see your reasoning. I see Miami lacking motivation being as a key factor. I also see the 2 teams are heading in opposite direction towards the end of the season with maimi losign 3 out 5 games and FL winning 3.

I am worried about the coaching situation for FL.

Thanks everyone. Wasn't easy as we had to overcome two early turnovers for touchdowns and some questionable calls and non-calls by the officials on fumbles. Nevertheless, nice to share the win. Promised to return with my decision regarding any increase in my level of play on Florida tonight. After further review, although I like the Gators very much tonight, an increase in level of play is not warranted. So, it will remain as a 1 unit play for me.

As to any concern that you might have regarding the coaching or any other reason, my suggestion would be that unless you are comfortable with any play, never, never, never make the play. Tomorrow is another day with opportunities that will present themselves. The worst thing you can do is make a play when you are "worried" if you are on the correct side or not.

With that said, I want to wish each and everyone one of you a very Happy New Year and hope that 2005 will bring you all good health and happiness.
