Coming off an 0-2 night, losing with Villanova and Arkansas. Definitely on the wrong side of these two games after following a tough loss on Monday night with Providence where I feel that we probably had the right side, but a loss just the same.

Honestly feeling a bit stale following the conclusion of the bowl season. This is not unusual as I transition from football to hoops. So, what I've decided to do for the next few days is provide an opinion only on games that would normally be on my short list as possible plays. If a game isn't shown, it means I don't have an opinion. I'm doing this because I am often asked if I have an opinion on a particular game that I have not rated. My suggestion is to use these opinions together with your own selections and those of the handicappers on this forum that you respect before making your play. I will not be playing these myself, but they are the games that would normally have made my final cut. Win or lose, I will not include them in my officially posted record too date. Hence,

Opinions Only

Thank you. I knew you as well as many others appreciate my thoughts. Just wanted to be honest about taking a couple of days off officially but still continuing to share. Good luck my friend.

hey ted, jump on in there.. ive been staying busy in the nba and nhl, i simply cant add cbb yet. however im trying to catch up this week, i liked kansas on monday and lsu yesterday but didnt bet either.. today i like vandy-7, but will not be playing as i am down on 5 plays already with nba and nhl...

when i add cbb, it tends to make me have a tremendous amount of games.. i will play some but just not yet,,,,, guess my opinion tonight is vandy -7..

I noticed you continue to do very well. I'm pulling for you both with your own plays as well as in the tournaments. Vandy was the last team I cut from my short list, so it was right in the mix. Wouldn't be surprised to see them win tonight.

Last night, I almost played San Antonio but passed as well. This is how I know a little caution is in order. Passing on the winners and playing the losers. A short regroup is called for here. Good luck tonight.

ted, ive been around 17yrs and i know exactly what your talking about.. almost like "tilt".. i saw an old friend today, whom i hadnt seen but once in about 17yrs, this man was around when i first started in this business in the fall of 1986.. he is retired now and in his mid 60's,, it was a delight, he plays at wwts and pokerstars, i had no idea that he would be able to turn a computer on..... i shared this site with him and hope he comes on.. even though im only 36 now, we were good friends, its nice to see some of the old guys..

by the way, he has played at the same table with chris moneymaker, many times at pokerstars and said that moneymaker was incredibly lucky and is really dead money..

That's great to see old friends. As to Chris Moneymaker, I watched the six days of the 2003 World Series of Poker and he was incredibly lucky throughout the tournament. He had more good cards and caught on the river more than is imaginable. He made some pretty poor plays throughout the tournament and was lucky to survive. He is real dead money. But in Hold Em, you can get lucky and he did. Don't expect him to win again.

Thanks for your understanding. This oldman takes a little longer too refresh then when he was young. Won't take long though. Will be posting the NFL rated plays this weekend for sure and perhaps hoops as well. Good luck to you and glad to hear you enjoy my threads.

I like your picks...especially Mizzou. Although I am going on Ole Miss tonight. Probably a bad idea since EVERYONE is on Miss St. Good Luck!

SSI, oddly enough your post asking about kansas the other day pushed me over the edge as I had already been looking at that game...they won handily...thanks...
