Oklahoma vs Iowa State on 10/29 by Craig_Brown

The Sooners ended a three-game skid with a 52-42 victory over Kansas yet narrowly failed to cover the 10 ½ point impost. It was the fourth consecutive game in which Oklahoma’s backers have lost their money. They are now 4-3 on the season and 2-5 against the number.

We will see Iowa State defending their home turf in this one after they gave Texas all they could handle in a 24-21 loss in Austin but easily covered as 16-point road dogs. The Cyclones will be looking to douse a four-game losing streak of their own and are 3-4 on the year with a 3-3-1 ATS mark.

The Sooners have won and covered the last two meetings between these teams and I suspect they will do exactly that yet again. Iowa State has a solid defense but they average only 22.9 points per game which rank them 103rd in the nation and are 0-3-1 ATS in their last four home games versus a team with a winning record.
