No way they'll only be a 4.5 point favorite over USC if that matchup happens, as was suggested in a topic this past week.

Jazz- I remember reading that thread and wanting to put Oklahoma -13.5, but I thought I'd get laughed at when everyone else was typing 4.5, 6.5, 7 etc.

The ML on the matchup is (sportsbook.com)

OKlahoma -300
USC +200

Terribly high vig, but that translates into about 6 or 7 ?

-7 usually translates into -250 to 270 on the money line. -7.5 equals -300 to -320.

On WSEX's interactive wagering Oklahoma is -212 to win the Sugar Bowl. It's paused right now, but if it doesn't go up and you want to tie up money until January that is the best to bet it.

Take a look at White winning the Heisman...he likely wrapped it up today.

Look at what a crappy Nebraska team did to A&M.....this should not be that much of a surprise.

BTW, if you had any doubt about Oklahoma-you can write it off. This team is a JUGGERNAUT this year!

Yes, I may be a jaded, bitter Bruin but the fact remains that U$C will get DESTROYED by this Sooner team. $C's team of last year was far superior to this one. The Pac-10 is waaaay down this year - how else could my inept Bruins have been undefeated in conference until last week?

77-0 late 3rd - don't think so, Funky, they'll be putting in 3rd and 4th stringers to try to keep the score down - obviously the 2nd stringers were hungry and A&M has just quit.

Funk, I don't know if they can keep it below 91 at this point....and we just might see 98.

I have not seen anything like this in big-time football since watching the 1940 Bears crush the Redskins 73-0 in the NFL Championship.

Did you guys know it would have been 74-0 but for the fact the Bears were asked to not kick the final XP because they were running out of footballs?

Stats at the end of the 3rd quarter:

First downs: OU 34, AM 2
Total yards: OU 624, AM 51
Penalty yds: OU 52 AM 64

OU has done this with just 1 turnover. Longest drive for the Aggies: 19 yards.

Amazing.

They were coached by John W. Heisman. Now memorialized every year by the trophy that bears his name.

Didn't Houston crack the century mark sometime in the Klingler years?
