I'm not a believer of games being fixed, but I watched the Oklahoma/Okie St. Game Last Night.
Very strange.
Oklahoma had no business not covering the -8.
The Sooners completely quit & would stare at each other.
So I'm not the only one that noticed some fishy stuff going on in the 2nd half. Don't get me wrong, It's just kind of funny how all of a sudden, Oklahoma quit trying to score by driving to the basket and then kicking out. Okl St all of a sudden knows how to stop Held and turn him over 10 times. Spangler shoots a ft so bad that it went in, and then Held said something to him and he line drives it off the front of the rim. Woodard steps up and hits a ft (with the spread still in doubt) and Held steps up and whispers something in his ear (I know may have told him what D they are in) and he throws up a clunker to the left side of the rim, and then fouls Okl St in the back court within 5 seconds. The uncontested layups thy kept giving Okl St in the 2nd half was just unbelievable. Spangler tried to miss a wide open 3 so bad he banked it in, and then the next time he made sure he missed it.
I'm sure that it's just the way things go sometimes in college hoops. I was hoping that last shot would go in and it was close. I know it's a rivalry game, I know it's called Bedlam, I know their just kids, I also know what I saw and it was a Oklahoma team that looked like they were on the take. If I had Okl St in this game I would have felt the same way, I would have said thank you , but still would be concerned about the strangeness of the game.
