OU - without Benson, defenses will focus on Young. Plus, Mack Brown can't beat OU to save his life.

Not to get into an argument in this score prediction thread, but you obviously don't follow longhorn ball. Priest Holmes, Ricky Williams, Cedric Benson...those names ring a bell? UT never has a problem finding a strong RB to pound the ball. Selvin Young, Romance Taylor, Jamaal Charles - any of the 3 will step into the role nicely....Anyway, we'll probably argue this in a few months.

USC did expose that our linebackers couldn't cover their tight end one on one downfield... vince young can't throw the ball downfield. jason white never won a big game, ever! OU will be better without him this year.
this game will be another low scoring game that will go to OU. sorry texas homers, once again, OU will be getting points and will be my most solid play of the year! good luck at the horseshoe.. you guys win there and i might start worrying about the red river shootout.

Texas loses to Ohio State on Sept. 9

but will snap its five-year losing streak against Oklahoma the second Saturday in October.

Oklahoma lost tons of players and just won't have it all figured out by this time. The Sooners will also be breaking in a new QB (Bomar, Thompson or even Tommy Grady - younger brother of former Fresno QB Jeff Grady) and none looked good in the spring.

Texas front four of DTs Wright, Dibbles, and Okam and DEs Crowder and Robison is no place for an inexperienced QB.

I have cashed on the Sooners the past few years, but now's the time to shift gears. The buck stops here...

Update

Running about 8-4 in favor of Texas, but I agree with Badwater, Texas loses to Ohio State, but still has a chance to play in another BCS game.

Stoops justs seems to be in Brown's head...UT definitely is more talented this year, just don't know if that will equate into a win...

Agree that texas loses in Columbus but woul dnot be surprised to see the Horns finally beat the Sooners. Surprised that I have seen Texas favored by as many as 4. I'll take the Sooners plus the points.

Is Mack Brown still the head coach at Texas? Check.
Is Bob Stoops still the head coach at Oklahoma? Check.
Is Vince "I can't hit a receiver downfield" Young still the quarterback? Check.

OU by 17.
