This looks to be one of those games where appearances and numbers dictate grabbing Indiana +4.5 from opening at +2.5, but there must be reasons this line keeps moving away. Any thoughts appreciated

Dude, I'm scratching my ass on this one as well. I can't figure how in the hell Indy is laying points, but the fact that they are is the light for caution.

I'd say because they're at home coming off of a win against Iowa and Indiana just got pretty overmatched against Ohio State. I like Indiana in the game but I'm also not surprised at all the the line is what it is. Good luck whichever way you go!

As mentioned, it could just be a reaction to the Ohio St. game. Ind showed nothing on defense and consistently turned the ball. Watching, I felt they were fortunate the final score wasn't much more lopsided.

and now it appears Indiana's starting PG may miss the game

Johnson's potential absence is irrelevant. This line is 100% a reflection of the absence of Hanner Perea. Hammons and Haas down low for Purdue is a terrible match up for IU. Without Perea IU lacks legit size and is going to have to rely on the speed game.

Regardless, when Purdue gives up 70 they lose. I am not the only one who thinks IU will score and score often in this game (the over under is 148) there is a very strong chance that IU gets over 70 leading to another IU win.

Iu has 0 size and Purdue has 2 really good big men. Purdue vs Iu is a pretty big rivalry game as well, home court definitely matters. If Iu isn't shooting lights out this could get ugly but you can say that about every iu game. I am a huge iu fan so taking the points for a small bet but this is far from an easy win.

Size all the difference here, IU cannot match up with Hammons/Haas

Indiana is getting destroyed inside, shaping up to be an easy double digit Purdue win. Too much size and body for a small Indiana team to contend with. If Hoosiers can't speed this game up and tire the Purdue bigs then they are toast. Good luck whoever you guys have in this one.
